  1. Just checkin' in. It's looking good!
  2. Loooooking good!
  3. Rude? Not at all.
  4. Woohoo! You need to get some sleep. (PS: That's not a stock Model T, either. )
  5. Awesome! Looking forward to seeing you there and having your builds on the tables!
  6. By the way, Martay ... well, I hate to even say it ... but ... oh well ... Model Ts didn't have plastic coated spark plug wires ... but, ... I mean ... like, you know ... whatever. Maybe you should paint it custom orange.
  7. I believe you, Brian. I remember them!
  8. Whatever . . .
  9. Great, Tom. We're looking forward to it!
  10. I missed this one previously, too. (Obviously spent too much time working before semi-retiring!) Nice work, Bernie. How did it turn out?
  11. Kewl. ALMOST there; you just need some dingleberries around all the windows!
  12. All in good, clean fun! It's always humorous when one gets caught with one's 'perfection' pants down whilest beating on someone else for not being 'perfect.' I know ... I've been there, too! It wouldn't be any fun if everyone was always perfect!
  13. Perfect!
  14. A top-chopped, sectioned Beetle from the factory! Who knew?
  15. Neat project, Toby!! Looking forward to seeing it finished.
  16. You have a 20,001 Ranger? How'd you get one so early? Are you sure there will even be a Ford Motor Company in the year 20,001? Let alone a Ranger? But, thanks for setting Toby straight. We gotta keep the facts accurate here!
  17. The 13th GoodGuys Southwest Nationals Model Car and Pedal Car Show will be next weekend, Friday-Saturday-Sunday, November 19-20-21, 2010 at Westworld in Scottsdale, AZ. The Model Car and Pedal Car Show will take place all three days. This is Arizona's longest-running model car/truck event! As an extra added attraction for model car/truck builders, there will be approximately 3,000 1:1 scale rods, customs, street machines, muscle cars, and special interest vehicles on display for modeling inspiration! Here's the scoop: Model Car/Pedal Car Show Registration is Friday 8am to 5pm and Saturday 8am to 11am. You may register and enter as many models and/or pedal cars as you would like. There is no entry fee to register for the Model Car and Pedal Car Show/Contest. We encourage you to bring all or as many of your models as you'd like, even if they've been displayed before! There will be thousands of spectators on hand to see your models and they love all kinds of model cars and trucks! There is no entry fee for model cars or pedal cars (no matter how many you bring, 1 or 100), but you must pay regular admission to get into the event either Friday or Saturday in order to enter the Model Car and Pedal Car Show/Contest. When you enter, you will receive a free all-day pass to enter the event on Sunday at no cost; pickup your models/pedal cars between 2pm and 3pm. So, at the very least, you get two days' admission for the price of one! Judging will occur Saturday afternoon and evening; awards will be displayed with winning models and pedal cars on Sunday following the Revell Make-N-Take event. There will be a Best of Show award sponsored by the International Model Car Builders Museum; there will be Best Engine, Best Interior, Best Finish and Best Junior Model awards conferred by critical judging. There will be a People's Choice Award and Top Twelve Models awards selected by spectator balloting. Last year nearly 900 spectators voted for their favorite models! There will be a Revell Make-N-Take event on Saturday at 1pm and on Sunday at 11am at the Model Car and Pedal Car Show. Revell will provide a free snap kit for each child 15 years of age & under who is in attendance and builds the kit on site. Moonlight Modelers Club members will be on hand to advise or help the youngsters with their kits if needed. The Southwest Nationals Model Car and Pedal Car Show/Contest will be inside the big tent, just inside the main entry to the GoodGuys Southwest Nationals event. Come see us there!!! We'll look forward to seeing you and all your model car creations!
  18. Yes, it most certainly IS! And, it has the rare but highly coveted Blurry Hood and Blurry Grille options. It is definitely dagmarlicious!
  19. Nice! I don't know how I managed to miss this thread previously, but glad I found it now. Good stuff so far; looking forward to more! PS: Glad you're not waiting for it to snow here in Phoenix, we'd never see the end of this build!
  20. Glad to hook you up, Ellis. Greg's Cosma Ray casting is outstanding. As soon as I get past next weekend's GoodGuys show, I've got to get back to this buildup and finish it. The interior's nearly done, paint's done, chassis is done, and the car is virtually ready for final assembly. Sorry it got sidetracked by ~life~.
