  1. Actually the only inaccuracy in that kit is the engraved saucer lines. While lighter than the Revell kit they are still wrong. The real filming model had lightly penciled on lines.
  2. Turned out quite well in spite of the kit's inaccuracies. Yes sir, the original TOS ship is the best of all, no matter which name you give her.
  3. Thanks guys. I was thinking so. Has anyone bought this issue? The photo shows bumper guards. I have the very first issue of this, and it does not have them. I am wondering did they tool them up? This issue supposedly has new parts.
  4. Looks good to me.
  5. Nice work.
  6. Is this the old tool from the 60s or the modern tool?
  7. Did a great trade with fordf100. My part goes out today or Monday.
  8. Nice, but why did you remove the chrome from the magnum wheels? The real ones are chrome with flat black details.
  9. Very well done!
  10. Absolutely stunning!
  11. I'm in the process of building one now, no issues so far. I put a Lindberg slant 6 in mine.
  12. That is a beautiful model.
  13. Well done, except for on thing, spark plug wires just do not come off the distributor in that manner. Their own weight will cause droop. On your next one tuck the wires down along the side of the distributor and run them to the plugs. Other than that you did a excellent job on it.
  14. Beautiful. Reminds me of my 82. You have a extra set of those wheels?

  16. Very well done. Speedway Decals makes a sheet for the 69 with decals for the headlights and tail lights. The tail lights also have the chrome surrounds. All you have to do is fill the existing tail lights and apply the decals. Here is a shot of them.
  17. X2, but excellent craftsmanship and artistry overall. From most angles the hump isn't bad, really only noticeable straight from the side.
  18. Easy even for a non rivet counter?
  19. Nice, but the oil pan seam tells me it's Revell's probably.
  20. Another stunner sir. One suggestion, add some basic spark, plug wiring, your engines will come to life.
  21. Stellar build. I am doing all 3 of my 66 Chevys in this color, this, the Impala and the Chevelle. The only beef I have is blue wires, but they are well done. Excellent work sir.
  22. Stunning! What color did you use on the floor pan?
