  1. Can't leave well enough alone can you Bill? If the issue bugs him he can fix it. That's fine. Why is it a freaking crime to not be bothered by it????
  2. If you were you wouldn't have commented. FYI I got raked over the coals and told I didn't know the subject on another forum because I had the audacity to say a test shot looked good. So I did not attack first.
  3. X2 Rich. Well said.
  4. Nice work.
  5. Prayers lifted for your son and for the family.
  6. Lol. Problem is those of us that accept what we consider to be minor issues and not bothered by them are accused of accepting mediocrity. Not true. Some just choose to look for the good and positive. Believe me if we see something that really annoys us we will say so. Forums like this were not in common use when Revell issued their first 69 Charger. Had I had access to a forum like this then you would have seen me jump on them.
  7. X2. BMF looks very much like chrome trim when applied correctly. It's not that hard, far easier than all the masking needed to do straight lines with the pen. The key is a sharp blade, maybe even a couple for one car. Practice and patience, a dispearing trait, makes perfect.
  8. Revell's. Beautiful work on this Tom, great color.
  9. No doubt. It seems some just have to find something wrong with a new tool. I understand it when major issues occur, case in point the first issue of Revell's 69 Charger, but small things? There is no such thing as a perfect model. Let's say the fan belts were actually done to scale, they would be so fragile you could not remove the part from the tree, then there would be a outrage about that. I find it much easier and a much happier time when I try to find the good in a new kit.
  10. Looks pretty good to me, plus it has a 6!! It's being ripped to shreds on another forum.
  11. Beautiful.
  12. That is beautiful.
  13. You are doing a fine job, in no way are my comments on the kit a reflection of your work. Very touching that you are going to give it to him.
  14. Nothing against your build, but that kit like AMT's old one is full of inaccuracies. The panel and grid lines are a major one. The studio model never had engraved lines, just lightly penciled in ones. The decks under the bridge are not quite shaped right, the Polar lights 1/1000 kit and the 1/350 kit get it right, and looks to me like the front of the secondary hull is a bit too long and not shaped quite right, also the inter coolers on the rear of the warp engines are too thin and not shaped correctly. You are doing a nice build however.
  15. Just because you can doesn't mean you should..
  16. Very nice. We badly need new tools of this and the AMX.
  17. Yes I know it's technically a real road runner. My point was its a shade of once was. Nice model at any rate. Interior is excellent.
  18. Nice color.
  19. Nice.
  20. Nice work. Alas, a roadrunner in name only.
  21. When's someone gonna do it in 1/25?
  22. Nice.
  23. Nice work.
