  1. Me, too! Bench time has been scarce, lately.
  2. This is a cool project. Makes me long for the days I owned a real one. Just about the most fun vehicle I've ever had, even more than the '79 Trans Am.
  3. Those are super nice!!!
  4. I thought that looked like a '64.
  5. That's great! Thanks, Steve. And thanks for the undercarriage pic. That's a good reference shot.
  6. Thanks, fellas! James2, that Nova looks great! Glad my messing around got you motivated! The Photoshop pic in that last post makes it look like a natural! Mercury should have offered them like that, IMHO!
  7. I have a GTX kit on its way. If the chassis fits the Coronet body, I might use it, too.
  8. I had searched for years to find one of these at a decent price. Last week, this one popped up on eBay. I put in a couple bids. Close to the end of the auction, I got a notice saying I had been outbid. A little later, I logged in to eBay and found out that I had won the thing! After digging into the facts, I found out that two other bidders had retracted their bids, leaving me as high bidder. I got this one much cheaper than my high bid. Anyway......here is what I got: Other than the obviously missing windshield and frame, the only other missing piece is the hood. I am going to attempt to rebuild this one. It doesn't quite look good enough to polish and toss into the display cabinet!! HAHAHA
  9. I probably should catch up with the work on this one. These are the seats and console from the '68 Mustang kit. I added a small bit to the console so it would match up with the dash: Then, I decided to whack the seats away from the console: Console is coming along: A little tweaking, here and there, and it should be okay.
  10. I built this '60 Plymouth wagon many moons ago: I might consider a redo on it. This Alternomad was fun to build: This '66 Chevelle wagon is the latest in my display; This one represents my first ever attempt at chopping a top on a model.
  11. Thanks for the tip. I'll give that a try in a couple days.
  12. Gorgeous Chevelle!
  13. I have four dioramas that I've done over the past 30 years. Even though I haven't added anything to the two oldest ones, I have never considered them to be completely finished. I can't even remember if I've posted any of them here. The latest one can be used for photo shots of finished builds, or even works-in-progress, so it can be changed around as needed. In that regard, I guess it will never be finished! LoL
  14. Has anyone heard from them, lately? I sent an email about 10 days ago, and haven't received a reply. I know these are trying times, right now, and I'm hoping things are okay with those folks.
  15. I really like that color combination.
  16. I like that cooler. I remember those being used deep into the late 70's.
  17. You might try direct email. Michael Hanson bestmodelcarparts@gmail.com
  18. Great looking Dodge! Red MOPARS are hard to beat! I built one of the pearl white convertible kits, and don't recall any troubles with it. I have 6 or 7 more, in both hardtop and convertible versions. They can be pretty good slump busters when those major projects get ya down! Thanks for the great tips on this kit!
  19. That cab looks nice!
  20. Great thread! Too bad about all the missing pics, though. I have a few in the display. I'll see if I can get 'em posted a bit later.
  21. Cool info on the gauges! I buy a lot from him, but didn't know he had the GP set.
