  1. Very nice! Where did those wheels come from?
  2. I pre-ordered my two from Model Roundup. Shipping and all was $68 and a few pennies. Hopefully, I'll have them by the end of the week.
  3. I'll be checking on this build! I have several of the XJ-S kits in the stash, and a real 1990 XJ-S convertible in the driveway. Might even "borrow" a few ideas from you!
  4. You could dress it up like the Daytona from Joe Dirt.
  5. Those look great! Another nifty idea for me to "borrow"!
  6. Very tidy build! Colors look great together!
  7. I believe that is the hardtop option part. In the old kit I have, there is a custom hardtop, the convertible boot cover, and the part that is supposed to represent a 2dr. hardtop version.
  8. Funny you should mention taking my time. I started my build back in 2009, I think! LoL Trying to do a full custom keeps bogging me down! Hahaha
  9. Lotsa chrome! I have one on the bench now, but BMF is not happening on it for a while.
  10. Thanks again, Dave! I also made what I think is a good trade with Scott8950. Thank you, Scott! I can knock off three more from the grail list, now.
  11. One for the good trader list is GoodbuildNY. I feel like we made a great trade. Thanks again, bro!
  12. I'd rather have a mud fence.
  13. Well...I got my notice from Model Roundup, but it was for the other order I had placed! LOL
  14. Maybe my two won't be far behind, then.
  15. I got to see Marty race at the Nashville Fairgrounds back in the 70's. His car seemed to be the most visible on the track under the lights.
  16. I would be seriously tempted to try MOPAR rally wheels from a Duster, or Magnum 500's with redlines.
  17. I think the first generation Barracuda kits had a slant six.
  18. One interesting thing I've noticed is these old cans are not leaking out the bottom.
  19. Just for reference sake, here is the Fujimi Garage using two wall and floor kits joined together: I only used one Fujimi Tools kit, plus a scratchbuilt table, and bits and bobs from the parts bins. The biggest drawback to this setup for me was the clear tops sag in the middle, due to not having any support. I've considered getting a thicker piece of plexiglass to use as a top.
  20. Cool! So, I'm not crazy, after all! HAHAHHA
  21. I was hoping those weren't pinstripes I was looking at.
