  1. Inflate a balloon....glue the pieces together on the outside of the balloon....when the glue is set, POP the balloon....problem solved!!! LOL
  2. Photo finish, looks like! LoL. Well....now we know.
  3. The car I drove looked like a regular, every day type grocery getter. Ran like a Mach I Mustang, though! Ultimate sleeper.
  4. Haha....I once knew a fella who had a 1949 Ford Sedan, with a Chevy 350 in it. He drove it every where. He also drag raced that car with the A/C running, and the radio blasting an Oldies station, full of fifties and sixties tunes. Your work on this mighty MOPAR keeps leaving me speechless, hence the lack of posts on my part! LoL
  5. Don't forget the three year old great grandson that would just as soon live in the hobby room....where the ancient issues of modeling magazines are!
  6. On eBay, there are some Atlantis kits for sale of the Red Baron, Tarantula, King Chopper, and the Mr. Gasser Ed Roth kit, all in Atlantis packaging. There are also several military type kits listed. I did an eBay search for Atlantis kits and found these. I just saw the Sinclair gas truck, and the Angel Fink kits. Have any of these been previously announced?
  7. I once test drove a '74 4dr Maverick that was white, with a light tan interior. On the front fenders were 5.0 badges. They were lying! Under the hood was very "warmed up" 351 Windsor. That little ride impressed me! Couldn't come to terms with the dealer, so I left it with him! Since that day, I've wanted to build a close replica with either a stock Maverick, or Comet kit. I just haven't been able to justify the cost, yet.
  8. There is a 1/25 scale resin kit of a 1968 Plymouth Belvedere 4 door sedan. If I can find a good link, I'll post it for you.
  9. They are impressive, to say the least. Every bit as beautiful as the same era Lincoln, or Cadillac.
  10. I agree with that. I've been a member of several that have gone by the wayside. Some happened at the blink of an eye!
  11. Right now, the main thing keeping us from selling out and grabbing a motorhome, is my stash....and the cost of the motorhome!! LOL i have even thought of doing that, and pulling a trailer set up as a hobby room! (Am I sick, or what?)
  12. This work is so immaculate! I'm looking forward to the day you build the radio, with the tuning knob that moves the dial indicator! Just a little friendly ribbing, there. But that would be awesome! LoL
  13. I suppose looking up stuff on the 'net is super convenient, and I do a lot of it, but I've never had a magazine of any kind freeze up on me while I was turning the page! LoL
  14. I once had a seven year hiatus from building...not on purpose. It's just the way things were going in the 1:1 world at the time. I wasn't building, but I never stopped buying! LoL Now, I have a big enough stash that all of Gru's Minions couldn't help me build them all! But, I'll keep plugging away at 'em, I guess! Haha
  15. Very cool cruiser! I'm getting ready to start on one of these, with a slightly different twist to it.
  16. I hate to see the magazine fold under. I've been getting it since the early nineties. Between SA and Car Modeler, I had something new to read every month. Kept them all, too, in the hobby room. I recently put them all in cardboard boxes, but now I can't move them! Too heavy! I also purchased the DVD for the first 35 years(?) and installed it on the computer. Now, I have every issue at the click of the mouse. Still, I hesitate to send the magazines on their way! It would be nice to see them do the next batch of issues, up to the present, on another DVD.
  17. When we find out, I wonder how many of us are gonna say, "I knew that's what it would be!." I know I'm gonna say it. I have no shame, sometimes! Hahaha
  18. Perfect match on the rug!
  19. Fabulous work!
  20. All the Co-Ops around here carry scale size farm equipment.
  21. Those wheels look like they'll be fine! Very Mustang-like.
  22. Well....at least these people are using their imaginations! Keeping the old brain churning! LoL
  23. I wasn't familiar with it, either, until I saw it on eBay.
