  1. I got enough of these to do 50 MOPAR builds!
  2. Those are real beauties! How delicate are they?
  3. Well done on a fine MOPAR!!
  4. This is great news, in light of the folding of a major car model publication. Thanks for stepping up, and I hope to soon be able to hold a Model Cars Magazine in my hands.
  5. Some of it is about brand loyalty. While I like the Grand Prix, and the Oldsmobile versions, I'd buy the Chrysler 300 first. Maybe if a company had done a series of Hurst kits around the same time, it would have done well enough to justify.
  6. Very creative, and not overdone. It just happens to be painted in my favorite car color!
  7. I have another brand of chrome foil stashed somewhere in the hobby room. I haven't tried it, yet. I'll try to fish it out and post the brand name in this thread.
  8. Superb results! Stunning Buick!
  9. I actually have a 1968 Imperial that has electric vent windows. I had never seen any of those until I bought this car. The problem right now is....they don't work! LoL
  10. It's looking good! I never thought about duct tape for a headliner. How easy is it to use on the curved areas?
  11. Nothing wrong with that, at all! I've had my '98 Dodge Ram for 20 years, and the '08 for 6 years.
  12. All the above!! LoL
  13. Welcome, Kyle! One thing you might want to do, if your kits are opened, is place the tires in a plastic bag. Also, I do the same with clear parts, and put the decals inside the instruction sheet.
  14. Thanks for that info. Quite helpful!
  15. I wonder what criteria determined which color was applied.
  16. Today I got 1.24 acres of cleared, flat land. Next step will be selling this house so we can put a new one on that piece of dirt. Gotta get busy!!
  17. Fade looks good. Seems like that would be hard to do.
  18. Great color for this one.
  19. I'm using the Hampton Art stuff, too. Fairly easy, and not dusty like flocking.
  20. I'm glad I saw this thread. I have some of this stuff, but haven't used it. I'll be wary of it, now. Guess I'll do a trial run on some scrap. If it doesn't work out, maybe I can turn it into masking material.
  21. Oh, no! I had some Duplicolor primer come off one recently when I tried to reposition a piece of low tack tape.
  22. I got very close to buying a new 1975 Celica GT Liftback. It was medium blue, with black interior. But, then a big, black DODGE caught my eye.....
  23. Today, I got some random model parts that I purchased off eBay. They were safely packed in a sturdy box. I wonder why can't they all use a box?
  24. This snippet is unrelated to modeling, but it has to do with Amazon. I bought a car battery charger along with a protection plan. After the charger quit working, I found out the plan doesn't cover chargers. Not too happy with Amazon right now.
