  1. Yes, I recently had a can of One Coat Wet Look Clear spray nothing but foam out.
  2. I saw a security camera clip of a FedEx driver delivering a flat screen TV. He backed into the driveway. The gate to the yard was locked, so he does the next best thing....he tossed the TV over the gate, onto the sidewalk and left. JOB DONE!!

    VW Cabriolet

Great looking bug! Just remember....we're not commenting on the quality of the kit. We're complimenting the great results you achieved with it! Keep up the great work!
  4. Absolutely wicked Chevy! This one turned out beautiful!
  5. Great van! I'm certainly old enuff to remember seeing vans like this on the streets....even rode around in a few!
  6. WOW!! This takes me back a few days! Snazzy paint job. Interior looks great. I really like the way you blended in the back doors. Super job!
  7. Well...today I checked the Krylon Gloss White I sprayed on the Boss Nova Saturday night. It's still just a wee bit too tacky to try laying any masking tape on it. I read the back of the can, and it said to spray at 85% humidity! At that percentage around here, it's raining, and I hafta spray outside! Any ideas why they recommend that high humidity?

Very good job! I like it!
  9. A great attention grabber! Fantastic paint!
  10. Spectacular Charger!
  11. Same here. I think I had that one back in the day.
  12. I like it! I have a couple of these promos. Been thinking about rebuilding at least one of them.
  13. I have an old unpainted built-up of the Supervan. Bought the kit in Birmingham 30 years ago for $5. There were about 5 of those kits in that hobby shop. Wish I had grabbed them all. I built it without painting it. I may pull that one out for a rebuild. I'll be watching this project for tips!
  14. According to Wikipedia, the first ones were based on the Chrysler: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hongqi_(marque) I really don't see it, myself.
  15. I have one of these in the Trumpeter box. I've never opened it to see what's in there.
  16. Looks like the real thing! Fabulous weathering on this Dodge!
  17. Fantastic! This is some of the best weathering I've seen in a while! The barn looks just like some I've seen around here. Great subject matter, too. Top notch work!
  18. Very good...I'll go check it out.
  19. So, they kitbashed it before we had a chance to! LoL
  20. Welcome to the forum, Roman! If you get a chance, post some photos of that barn diorama.
  21. That is extremely nice! The color combination is just right. Very well done!
  22. I believe you may be right. I have one of those bumpers in the bin, molded in pale blue. I built the '67 GTO, but don't have a '70.
  23. What a shame! I bought a vintage kit from Spotlight a couple years ago. When it got to my house, the box was just about destroyed, and the kit box was all smashed. Upon opening the kit box, I discovered the body was in pieces. Everything else was okay, but the body couldn't take whatever crushed the box. I contacted Spotlight Hobbies, and sent pics to them, hoping to maybe get a refund and send the damaged kit back to them. I got an email apologizing for the damage, and they sent me another identical kit to replace the bad one. I asked about sending it back, and was told to just keep them both! That's a sign of good people, in my book!
  24. A member of our local antique car club owns a very sharp red Maverick Grabber. I'm not sure what engine is in it. They bought it a couple years ago from the original owner. If I had seen it first..................
