Most times my floaters look like the Goodyear blimp!

I used Pladti Kote primer years ago, then it disappeared from my regular buying places. I switched over to Duplicolor and haven't looked back. I normally shoot a couple light coats and then a couple heavier coverage coats. I spray the parts from all kinds of different directions, to keep down the chances of it streaking. Back in the days of yore, I used mostly TESTORS color paints with no primer at all. Never really had much problem, except for an occasional run when I sprayed it to heavily.

I have severe floaters at times. Sometimes, I have to quit reading or working at the hobby bench until they quit. I have an appointment Thursday. I'll have them tell me what the name of my condition is, as I've forgotten. I was told it is a condition of aging. EDIT: I found what my floaters are called...Posterior Vitreous Detachment. Mention that to the eye doc and see what he says.

In the category of "Wish I had my camera", I passed a small used car lot today that had a '65 Falcon Ranchero, '60 Imperial, '72 Riviera, '63 Nova, and some others I couldn't see well from the highway. Hopefully, I can get down that way again, soon, and take my camera with me! I also spied a gorgeous '65 Falcon Futura in a yard for sale. It was a bluish silver color with black interior and white accent in the side chrome trim. If only I had a few extra coins............

There are replacement tips available. I have a couple for the 1mm pen. When I get back to the hobby room, I'll try one, as my pen is doing the same thing as described above.

I just finished reading an article about Wendell Scott. It seems in 1972, he ran a Monte Carlo in at least one race. ...the World 600 at Charlotte. If I can find that pic again, I'll post it.

I'm glad to see this build. It looks great! I now know what mine has a chance to look like when I build it. I also have the Camaro counterpart. I always thought it was a cool concept.

If I saw a 1971 Dodge pickup model kit sitting next to a 1971 Chevy pickup model kit at a hobby shop, I'd get the Dodge, but that's just me! LoL
