Very nice build! What color is that? One pic looks blue, the other pic looks charcoal. I really like the looks of this paint job.
  2. Silver Fury I....bench seat....big block power....no white walls, or white letters....ultimate sleeper, here! This turned out great! Top notch work!
  3. Krazee Kool!! It just looks natural! TOP SHELF build!
  4. Very well done! Unique color combination. I like it! Might I "borrow" that idea for a future build?
  5. As far as I know, you are correct. I have 6 of the '68 Imperial promos. There are also some '67 Imperial promos out there, so they basically got two years out of the tooling, with not much alterations required to change the '67 to the '68.
  6. Welcome to the forum! How long have you been building models? Not Steve
  7. I didn't have a clue, but it is a gorgeous little ride!
  8. Very cool Falcon, Mr. Wagon!
  9. Lately, I've bought some Dodge Viper kits to rob. A few late 80's Chevy pickup kits. A couple AMT '69 GTX for the chassis. And two or three AMT '67 Impala kits to maybe upgrade some MPC '68 and '69 Impalas. So....yeah....I'm a kitbasher!
  10. Fantastic Charger! Well thought out. Of all the great mods you performed, I have to say my favorite is the engine compartment hatch. Very impressive!!
  11. Step back and take a breath. You're doing a fantastic job with the Autoquiz.
  12. You are forgiven, sir. Now...on to the next one!! LoL
  13. Very sharp Skyliner! I really like the color combination. A tutorial for all those new hinges might help those of us who are skeered to tackle the kits in our stashes! LoL
  14. Mrs. Bucky and myself just finished off a meal consisting of oven-baked thick cut bacon, cut-leaf spinach, and black eyed peas from the pressure cooker. Served up with coffee and SunDrop. Sorry....no pics. (It didn't last long enough to take pics!)
  15. I'll be in the market for two sets, also!
  16. If it takes that long to do the Cutlass, it should be just about perfect!
  17. Such as this......
  18. Very nice work! I like the t-tops. I had a black Fox-body Mustang....1981....4 cylinder....5 speed....with pop-up sunroof. Still a fun little ride.
  19. Very cool collection! I have one Hubley kit that I haven't built, yet. It's a 1960 FORD station wagon.
  20. "Mansion of the Doomed". 1976. Sickening movie.
  21. Hmmmm....... In no particular order: 1.AMT/Lindberg '34 Ford Pickup 2. Monogram '69 Dodge SuperBee 3. JoHan '68 Chrysler 300 4. AMT '67 Mercury Cougar 5. Revell '70 Datsun 240Z 6. AMT '40 Ford Coupe or Sedan 7.MPC '72-'79 Dodge Pickup 8. AMT '49 Mercury 9. Moebius '69 Ford F-100 Pickup 10. AMT '90 Chevrolet 454SS Pickup This list is subject to change, as I manage to get more built!
  22. Fabulous finish! There's just something about a big, red ragtop! Very well done!
  23. There is also the case where the kit makers "jump the gun". Two examples come to mind....the MPC 1976 Plymouth RoadRunner kit is based on the B body Fury, which Plymouth did not offer for 1976. The other is the JoHan 1968 AMC Ambassador convertible kit, based on a car that AMC did not offer. So, both of these kits are entirely inaccurate!
  24. Completed a smooth trade with Ctmodeler this week. Thanks, Ken!
  25. Gorgeous!!! If I had that, I'd put at least 800 miles on it in a single day!!
