  1. Excellent looking interior. That will most likely bring focus to the inside of the finished build that a lot of hardtop models don't get.
  2. I believe 1962 is the only year for that one. I could be wrong, however.
  3. In any case, It's a smooth, good-looking body style.
  4. Top notch truck, here! Well done!!
  5. I hadda look twice to make sure this wasn't mine! HAHAHA I built a '62 based on the Impala SS convertible: Looks like a twin to your build! Further indication that GM missed it in 1962!
  6. Big MOPAR fan, here, and in my opinion, the '68 300 is the best looking car Chrysler ever built. It looks like you have nailed the look with this example! Very well done! I don't think I've ever seen one of these in silver. It certainly stands out! Nice!!
  7. Looks extremely mean...in a good way! Well done!
  8. I may have replied to one or both of the other threads. I'll check it out. In the meantime, I'll reply here. My username, BUCKY, came from the nickname a foreman gave me way back in 1980. He couldn't remember my first name, which is Keith. He called me Kyle, Kevin, Kenny.... anything starting with a "K", except Keith. He got tired of me correcting him all the time and decided to shorten my last name, which is Buckner. It's been with me since then.
  9. It sure doesn't look like the worst part! Keep it coming, dude!! Spectacular work!
  10. Looks great! I've never seen a Yenko in this color. I like it!!
  11. Such a great kit, I built mine many years ago, and rebuilt it last year! LoL I think you've done a real nice job on this one, JJ!
  12. Another welcome from me, David! And, I've been retired for five years, now. It seems there's so many of us "in the same boat", that it just might sink!! LoL
  13. Top shelf job on this one. Color is just right. Your photos make it look 30 feet long! Well done!
  14. Very sharp Chevy. Great color combination. Is it just me, or does the front of a '71 Chevy have a Cadillac look to it?
  15. I really enjoyed looking at the photos and reading the commentary Tim. Thanks for taking the time to do this for the benefit of us hobbyists. I will be grabbing one of these kits, to add to the rest of my 4-4-2 collection.
  16. I'll probably try a couple different concepts to see what looks the best, along with being potentially functional.
  17. Top shelf work, here! Well done! Doesn't show that you are a newbie. LoL Welcome to the forum, and keep the great looking builds coming! BTW...I just got a letter from the Social Security folks telling me I've reached full retirement age! So, I guess I'm in the same demographic as a good number of members here.
  18. Incredible stuff! Looking forward to more!!
  19. Amazing! Perfect color for this cruiser! Every '66 ElDorado shudda had this roofline!
  20. Either one should be a potent source of energy for the Merc. I'd say, if it fits in the engine bay, go for it.
  21. Looks like you nailed it! Great result!
  22. I always liked the '49 Mercury better than the '49 Ford. It has more character, in my opinion. Looking forward to seeing more on this one. I built a full blown custom Mercury about three years ago. I like the color choices you have in mind for this one.
