  1. Well...the pressure washer might help with that botched TESTORS paint job! And pizza always deserves a place in the hobby room! Hahaha
  2. A '66 Stutz built-up sold on eBay today for $36.00. It looked like a fairly well built model, too.
  3. Extremely sharp! Very nice cruiser!
  4. Superb build! Colors are fantastic! Most of the guys I knew back in the day wudda had the cooler in the back seat, tho! LoL
  5. Where's Siri?
  6. You boys are just pups! I used to buy 1/25 scale Johan kits at G. C. Murphy for .89 a pop right after they were issued! LoL MPC and AMT were expensive...$1.49 each!
  7. I like the way you incorporated the checkerboard into the side panels. NO, WAIT!! That's a reflection in that brilliant red! Seriously, this is a fantastic build!
  8. I was always intrigued by these Renwal kits. I have one of each, except the Jordan and the Pierce Arrow. I actually have two Mercer kits. One has the body parts molded in white, the other has the body parts molded in red.
  9. Some of those Renwal kits were based on actual vehicles that had been customized. I believe it was Exner who had a hand in the designs. Currently, I have several Renwal kits, but the Jordan Playboy is a hard one to find at my kind of price.
  10. That black Javelin is an absolute beauty!!
  11. I'd buy one, too. I have one, now, but the windshield frame is broken off. Might not be too difficult to repair.
  12. He has.... the equivalent of an appetizer!
  13. Soooooooooper shiny!!! One of the best shines I've seen in a while!
  14. WOW!! That is a nice pony car! Great color scheme!
  15. Add another vote for gray. I actually had a '79 Mercury Marquis that was Dove Gray. Looked like primer with a gloss clear coat on it. My cousin had a dark gray '67 4-4-2, and a dark gray '73 Duster, so gray wasn't really out of place in the 70's.
  16. I used the Highjackers back in the 70's. The police around Nashville would often pull a driver over, and measure the back bumper height from the pavement. If it was too high, a ticket was issued. I always kept mine in the legal range. Couldn't afford the tickets!
  17. Having ordered from you before, I have no doubt about the quality of these interior parts. I'm in no hurry, as my entire "hobby room" is still packed away from moving in May. Keep up the great work, Ed!
  18. At the ripe old age of 13, I flung a Revell '57 Chevy down the hallway because of all the "working features" that I couldn't get to work! LoL
  19. I've always had a bit of a problem with opening doors. Hoods and trunk lids are not so bad, but still require close attention.
  20. Sometimes, spare sprues of headlight lenses pop up on eBay. I'd say, also, that most long-time modelers, like myself, have accumulated extras over the years.
  21. Stunning build! Great color on this one!
  22. Sorry... I missed the link. I just now clicked on it. This model is certainly something very different.
  23. It gives definition to what would be separate panels on a 1:1 scale automobile. I've scribed panel lines deeper on models that have faint, or shallow lines from the molding process. I've even done the gas filler doors that way on a lot of the ones that have them on the rear quarter panel. It just adds to the realism that a lot of modelers strive for.
  24. Could it be a late April Fool's joke?
