"Holy Grail" Models?
Bucky replied to Billy Kingsley's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
One of my current "Grail" items is a 1/25 scale 1967 Imperial promo. I have four of the 1968 Imperial promos, and they pop up far more often than the '67. I would probably consider trading one of the '68s for a '67. -

I have one of those 4 door Corvette kits. They don't seem to show up often on eBay. -

The Model King issue I had, with the Open Road Camper, did call it The Racer's Wedge. -
I absolutely agree with this. Copper or stainless steel pipe with compression fittings would be this old pipefitter's choice for air lines.
-
I would shop around for a small ready made air tank. I definitely wouldn't try to make one myself. The consequences can be very bad if something like a weld or threaded fitting should fail. Having worked as a pipefitter for over 40 years, I've seen results of what a tank under pressure can do when it blows up.

I recently received a Polyglass Gasser Pontiac kit from an eBay seller with a 99.8% rating and over 154,000 feedback. It came in a bubble pack yellow envelope. The main problem with that is the mail carrier decided to cram it in the mailbox instead of putting it where she normally puts boxed packages. When I opened the package, I found one end of the kit box was crushed in a bit. After opening the kit, I found no damage to any parts. However, I don't think I'll buy from that eBay seller again.

I have a few of the past issues of that Imperial, but none of them have the motorcycle. I may grab a new one just for that.

I think I'll be jealous, now! LoL Great capture!

I've had a few come from eBay sellers, and one from a member of another forum that arrived damaged. In every case, I contacted the seller first. Each time, the seller offered a satisfactory partial refund, except one. That seller sent me another complete kit, and told me to keep the broken one, too. So, now I have two 1968 FORD Thunderbird kits, one with a destroyed body in it. In all these cases, I didn't have to get eBay involved, but I would have if any of those sellers had balked on me.

Ducking always seems to work when they shoot through the windows, too. -
I'd like to know about it, too. I didn't know these were made in 1/24 scale.
