  1. who drives Volkswagens
  2. Cute little econo box.
  3. Seems like the primer would seal off anything from the plastic getting to the lacquer. I once had a problem with MCW paint. It wrinkled up something awful. I stripped it, cleaned the body really good, used the same primer, and the same paint. (I'm a sucker for punishment.) The second spray down went well, and it's in the display, now. That was over ten years ago. Still looks good. Before I abandoned this project, I'd strip the paint and reshoot it, again.
  4. I have two of the later re-issues of the AMT '78 LRE kit. Both kits have the five slot chrome wheels. They are all the same size. The wheels on the 1:1 trucks were 7 inch in the front, with GR60-15 tires, and 8 inch in the rear, with LR60-15 tires. https://www.dodgeconnection.com/LilRedInfo.html
  5. You musta buffed it with diamond dust, cause it's sparkling!! Okay...I'll get me hat and coat!
  6. I'd be in the market for a new-tool Marlin kit! Moebius, maybe?
  7. I had a '77 Aspen SE like this one...t-tops and 360 V-8: I liked the performance, (as late 70's standards go), and the ride, but I can't call it my best MOPAR, as it made several trips to the dealership for various "lemon" issues.
  8. I just yesterday ordered the '65 utility bed version of this pickup. I didn't think they were gonna be out this early.
  9. Back in 1973. I bought a 1 owner 1966 Dodge Coronet 440 4 door sedan. Very low miles. Had never been driven over 45 mph, as it had never been outside the city of Nashville. I was 18 at the time. It was my first car. Not really what a typical 18 year old boy wanted to drive back then. I kept it for about 6 months, and traded it for a new Olds Omega. Since then, I've owned two more 1966 Coronets. Prolly just a touch of nostalgia fever, but I wouldn't mind having another '66 Coronet 500.
