I'm still waiting here on the West coast for them to show up,going through Ebay is to expensive.Do plan on painting it a factory color?.

Very nice!,i built the stock version last summer.

Even though this kit has been panned by quite a few,it's amazing how a few changes can really make it shine.

Even though performance on these cars was weak,the styling was still very sharp.

Black is a hard color to get right,but it looks like it turned out for you.

Real nice work on the scratchbuilt header panel and the interior,just wondering what colors did you use for the woodgrain on the dash?i'm working on a 68 galaxie dash that needs the same treatment.

Those are probably the kits in his stash he's not going to build due to inaccuracies in the body,the wheels are undersized..etc

I'd go with the rally wheels.

To bad about the fit issues,what colors did you use to paint the body?

Thanks for the info,i actually have the Missing Link front and rear bumpers,as I couldn't save the ones on this kit,they sell some great stuff but with the Canadian dollar being some low and the cost of shipping some stuff is to expensive for me right now.I have seen pics with different wheels and stripes that I like,luckily I happen to also have a mint unbuilt kit in my stash that will be built with those options.

Looks very nice so far,i'm guessing that you're using MCG detail set for the badges?what are going to use for door handles?

I have a question,what color is the air cleaner painted?i can't seem to find any pics and also the color of the oil pan?thanks for looking in and any helpful hints and comments are appreciated.

I have the engine painted ford blue,but it looks lighter in the pic for some reason and some of the other engine parts painted as well

The exhaust is painted,i used gloss aluminum on the exhaust and cast aluminum on the mufflers,the front and rear coil springs were painted semi-gloss black with steel used on the springs,i couldn't save one of the front springs so i took one from a 69'galaxie which doesn't look a lot different.

Ths chassis is painted,but looking online i think I've painted it wrong:

Ok everyone,i'm back with a small update,there was still a lot of putty and sanding i overlooked,the wheels have been painted flat black i used a black/steel mix for the disc and painted the calipers steel,they were already glued together so i detailed them as best as i could:

I have found pictures with the stripes and it does look good,but I think i'm gonna go with the vinyl roof,thanks for looking in.
