  1. Beautiful! What color are you going to use in the interiors?
  2. Have the 328s been released or did I miss it?
  3. Have you tested it on a dyno yet? As I have said before, when I grow up I want to be like you Thanks,
  4. Bill, I talked to a well known resin caster and friend to try to cast a transparent roof. It turned to be harder than what we thought. It didn't came out crystal clear. This is it in the Magnetic red C6 after tinting it from the inside. I think it can be improved a bit by burying it under Tamiya X-22 acrylic clear. Having it been a total success it would have been offered for sale. Thanks,
  5. Bill, I'm having the same problem since last night. I though it was my ISP. Early in the morning, it did not loaded for over an hour. Thanks,
  6. If the past is any indication, Martin casted my Holy Grail: The Corvette SS. To this date, this resin kit is still considered a benchmark in the industry. And it was casted more than 15 years ago. I'm considering that Firebird III... not that I don't have enough projects Thanks,
  7. Looking GREAT Bill! I'm very glad somebody like you is doing justice to one of my all time favorite kits
  8. Carl, I'm not sure but I think html tags are case sensitive. Try changing them to lower case (the img things). The links work manually. Thanks,
  9. This is my area. It is a separate concrete shack in the back yard. About 12 x 18 ft. My dream was to to have a checker floor and my own "brickyard" That is my tribute to the greatest of them all: The Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The closet in the back holds my small stash. Cars to the left, aircraft to the right. This is my definition of an ORGANIZED workbench. Thanks,
  10. Hello, I've never been into promos before, but the last Indy Pace Car Corvette model was the '98. Since there are no models and no aftermarket decals as far as I know for the 2002 Pace Car, I got it as my first promo. Then the Yellow Daytona Pace Car, the 2004, 2005 and now the 2006 Indy Pace Car. I still have the intentions of upgrading the promos like I did with the yellow Pace Car. (brakes, mirrors, chassis details, etc) Anyways, I just got my 2006 Pace Car promo. The edges of the color lines show some fuzzy areas and overspray, and the white in the hood is not as glossy as other promos. I think it can be polished and improved, but I have to be careful. It still looks good. I like the scheme from the front wheels backwards. I'm not crazy about the nose scheme. I need to do a separate gallery for the Pace Cars. Thanks,
  11. Thanks Paul, The original idea was to do something "Corvetty", but this project took a life of its own. I would like to do another one but with Corvette cues... Thanks,
  12. Darrell, If you already have a compressor for your tools, you are halfway there! I have a big noisy bulky compressor, made out of an old propane tank, a washing machine motor and a junkyard car A/C compressor. (It works great, but I don't want to marry it ) But since I usually work on models at night after everybody is sleeping, I fill a 7 gallon portable tank to about 100 psi during the day. That usually gives me a few nights of airbrushing. A regualtor is mandatory. I usually work around 20 psi. Slightly less for enamels, about 20 for lacquer and slightly more for primers. But that's pretty much a matter of personal preference. One word of caution. Compressed air is like fire: Very useful but dangerous if not treated carefully. I had a cheap fitting blow up and it sent the hose whiplashing violently all over the place. Not to mention the loud "BOOM PSSSSSsssssst" made the heart skip a beat or two Good luck! Thanks,
  13. UN CANDUNGO!!!! Like many others, I almost killed myself in one: Webbers, headers, slicks and wet pavement *DOH*
  14. Hello, I threw away the kit's fork assembly and decided to build my own. I increased the rake slightly, without touching the frame. That is sheet styrene and aluminum tubing. The more I work on this the more I realize how much is still needed But I love it and I'm having FUN!!!!!! Thanks,
  15. John, That's very nice! Two thumbs up!
  16. WOW! That is so freaking cool!
  17. I noticed about a week ago, and I see people replies commenting on the pics so others can definitely see them. I tried upload4.postimage.org alone and it works, but upload5 does not....
  18. Hello, I can not see pics posted in upload5.postimage.org and many here are using that service. I only get the dreaded red X. I CAN see pics if they are in upload4.postimage, upload3 etc. I tried turning firewall, spyware and antivirus software off with no success. Anybody else having this problem? Has anybody seen/heard this before? Any idea? Thanks,
  19. I'm sure this will most likely change, but as of now, it seems this could be my first "car-less" year since 1992!!!! But this will always be my online home  Revell chopper bike Jet airliner Prop airliner 3 helicopters a 1/35 armor model Then again, this can change anytime and many times
  20. '57 Buick and '56 AC Roadster?
  21. Here are some of mine: Ferrari 612ig custom Scag Ferrari 308 GTB Ferrari 360 Modena You can see more pics and info here: http://puertoriconet.com/models/cars.htm Thanks,
  22. Hello again! Back at the workbench after the holidays. It will be a very busy month at work but I was able to do some work on the chopper. The back fender was hacked by the tail light and the part was relocated to the front. After a lot of filling and sanding here is where I am now. A lot more to go, but you get the idea. Thanks,
  23. WOW! ehhh WOW!
  24. This may help: The ends go in the "air" as they are supposed to be attached to a small vertical rod. I added this rod to several models but it is not really worth it, as it can not be seen anyways. Hope this helps. Thanks,
  25. I use them for military models. For airbrushing, I thin with a mixture of half water half rubbing alcohol.
