  2. Looking good! Bienvenido al forum...
  3. Nice work Matt! I was hoping to meet you (and your C6-R ) last month when I was in Atlanta, but you were in the middle of the move. I hope that went smooth. Thanks,
  4. Ohhhh that will be a beauty! Excellent choice for a box stock build. Great subject and a wonderful kit. And yes, black IS a pain. Looking GREAT so far! Thanks,
  5. That will depend on many factors, including personal preference, thinning ratio, equipment etc. In my case I use 20-22 for lacquers, 22-25 for enamels and 25-30 for primers. Thanks,
  6. Looking good. Welcome to the forum! Many good modelers from Norway. Thanks,
  7. Hello, Now here is something I started almost 10 years ago and was forgotten in the back of the stash. I found it a few days ago. My 1937 FordVette. The idea is to have a '37 Ford body and chassis with everything else Corvette. This is the '37 Ford model with the little trailer. It comes with the drivetrain already. I opened the doors and trunk, and plan to use either a '73 or C5 interiors. If I use the '73 it will be called the 3773 wired and plumbed. Scratchbuilt rear shocks. Aluminum driveshaft. Many shades of metallics. Full brackets. I HATE to see alternators in the air The engine has lost some of the wing bolts. complete fuel line and engine wiring Here is a mock up. I took a little break from cars and I'm currently working on some aircraft, but it shouldn't be long. What do you think? Thanks,
  8. Yup, They had a GREAT time! Have you ever met visitors who don't have a great time with us boricuas? Thanks,
  9. I did not made it to the show this year. Maybe next year.....
  10. Ron, All are great as usually from you, but I love the '67 Vette (surprised!?) I plan to do my '67 coupe in Marina blue as well!!!! Thanks,

  12. Bill, You mean like this? This has been started for more than 15 years. And last time I did something on it was about 12 years ago... Maybe I need to go back at it... Thanks,
  13. Thanks all! Wow!!! rec.models.scale was where it all began! ScaleCorvettes.com was born there back in early 1998. I thought it was no longer active. Gotta get back there. Thanks,
  14. OK, I know this is off topic but here we go anyways. Car model stuff has been put away. I want to make this ######: Look closer to this: in 1/72 scale!!! I'm looking in a mirror and saying "Good luck!" So I'll be away from cars for a while..... Thanks,
  15. Thanks buddy! Always a pleasure having you here. We should do it more often Thanks,
  16. Anybody knows of any forum like this one dedicated to aircraft models? I'm working on some helicopters and it feels very lonely

  18. That Trike looks great! I don't know anything about them, but I think it must have a turning radius like a 747 Question: What wheels are those in the yellow Mustang? (Here we go again with the wheel fetish....)

The engine alone is an inspirational build in itself! After the 3rd time looking at it I noticed there is a car body there Great craftsmanship! Thanks,
  20. My portuguese is not very good (far worst than my english) but I'm slowly learning it as a third language.....
  21. Uelder, Está muito bom, mantenha o bom trabalho... Eu espero ver mais do seu trabalho.. O'brigado,
  22. Dave, I'd love to see the picture if you ever find it. Have you heard from Gary lately? I haven't heard from him in about a year. Thanks,
  23. Bob, Let's see if it works from here: If it works, we should see your wonderful GS Tahoe.... Thanks,
  24. Hello, First a little history: About a year ago I was discussing Grand Sports with Robert Wheeler, (the othe Corvette guy, robertw in this forum). then the December '05 issue of Corvette Fever magazine was dedicated to Grand Sports and some GS clones, including a C5 and a C6. So we set to do a pair of GS clones: I'd do the C5, since I already had a C5 Z06 in progress painted LeMans blue, and he would do the C6. By coincidence, they were both finished last week. So here they are both: 1 picture of each then more pics of both Robert's C6 Grand Sport: Robert used Tamiya paints. My C5 Z06 Grand Sport: I used Cobra Colors paint. I started painting this car almost 2 years ago, and it shows. This paint job is nowhere near any of my most recent efforts. White stripes on both cars are painted, not decals. More pics of Robert's C6 More pics of my C5 Z06 GS Sorry for the big amount of pics Thanks,
  25. They are all nice but the trailer is mind boggling
