Yeah, but it only works if you have a 3D printer. I had one, actually it was my sons, but it crapt out and the company that made it wouldn't fix it. They wanted him to buy the new o e which was $10,000 bucks! Ron G

Is that for an AMT Peterbilt hood? There is differences between AMT & Revell hoods. Ron G

Hello fellow modelers. Well you all wanted to see this. So here we go. "How to lengthen a Revell Peterbilt 359 hood" by me, yeah the old guy.🧓 Okay, this view shows that the kit hood is actually 61" long. Not 60" like it should be. The tape is for my cut line. I'm removing 3" (scale) this will become clear in a minute. This view shows that the openings for the two air cleaners are about 9" deep into the hood sides. So I'm cutting 10" off the sacrificial hood to add to the good hood that I previously cut 3" off of. So let's see 61" - 3" = 58" + 10" from the other hood = 68" Ta da. This view shows the sacrificial hood to the right and the good hood on the left. As you can see it will be 68" long when I attach them together. This view shows them sitting together, not attached yet. As you can see it's now 68" long. Perfect for a 127" BBC hood. This got out of order. It shows the tape cut line to remove the 10" need for the good hood. Voula! It's glued together now. And now I just need to fill in the left over air cleaner openings and sand it down and it will be ready for primmer. Close up view of the joint. Here it is sitting in place with the cab. Another view of them sitting together. Well I did it! It wasn't really as hard as I thought it was going to be. So now I can move on to finishing the whole truck. I found the article from Tim Ahlborn on lengthening a Peterbilt 119" BBC into a 127" BBC hood. I have two Revell Peterbilt 359 hoods, so I think I can pull it off. I just need to print the pictures and follow his instructions. Easy pessy Japanesey. OPPS! I just gave away my age...lol😁 Ron G

Hey Gary Yes it was available in both Pete's and KW's. It was really not the reason for the long (extended) hood, but it was definitely needed to fit this beast in. You see them in KW 900L's more then Pete's. I just thought it would look really cool in my Pete project. 😎 Ron G

Hey all For me the biggest challenge for this build is going to be stretching the hood to fit over that massive 12V71🤔. I'm not sure if I should use two Revell hoods to make one or scratch build one? I'm stumped so any help from the peanut gallery would be greatly appreciated. Ron G

Hey all I'm starting this post now, even thou I'm still working on my IH Payhauler 350. I'm just starting this because I will be doing some work on this when I burn out on the Payhauler. This is the kit and my ideas for it. This is the kit I'm starting with. These are from Jamie at Mo'luminum. There Bridgestone M844 425/65R 22.5 floats. These are from Jamie also Michelin XDVS 11.0R 22.5 drive tires. This wheels are from Paul at ST Supply. This is the engine I'm going to be using. It's from Jamie and it's a Detroit Diesel 12V71N two stroke. This view shows it assembled with a Mack 13/18 spd. Transmission. This the extra set of frame rails that come in the kit,not the Canadian spread axle frame rails. Well that's it for now. I will be jumping on this off and on while I'm working on my IH Payhauler 350.
