This just makes me feel older. I had an '87 Civic, this is the next generation, and it has a Historic Vehicle plate! That's just wrong man! 🙄 Snapped this close to where I turn off this highway, temporary plate. Does anyone have a median that is this huge?

Sorry I'm a little delayed on a reply. 😜 Knowing licensing brand names makes models more expensive, I bet Revell decided to change the grill. I recently saw a video of one being driven around a European car show, kidney grill. I have painted some model rockets with the 'Alclad' gold for Lexan bodies, on the outside not inside. It sure doesn't take much to get the effect.

Bumpity bumping this ancient thread because I'm curious (and was looking for something else in my manage list), has there been a new tool kit released?

I accidentally created that look, but it's probably lame idea for this application. I tried window tint film on the back window of my '69 Chevy C-10, had some bubbling which annoyed me.

I wouldn't want one, but I sure appreciate the execution on this! Looks like there is a pearl in that paint. So is this a million dollar car? Still cheaper than a new $4.5M Aston Valkyrie convertible.

I built that kit last century, made the Out To Pasture diorama with it. It's an awful kit. I see Gerry posted an awesome review. I still have the Protar and Fujimi kit in my stash. I built the Italeri kit with some customization. The tires are the worst part, wish Fujimi would sell just their Pirelli tires. I had the Gunze kit without the engine, which I got a 3D printed engine, correct seats, but sold it at Desert Scale last year.

I finished another model! 👀😳🎉 This time I did a much better job with the chrome 'AK Interactive' paint. I used 'Rustoleum' gloss black for the base, which worked great! This is the second rocket based on the food can, with a better design "fin" structure. The business end. The first one had a cool swooshing sound during launch. I missed going to an official launch this month outside of Kingman at a dry lakebed, will endeavor to make the next one. We are so dry that I don't dare launch at all. Wondering if there is a Garbage class for this. 🤔

Awesome! First thing to check are the tires for dry rot. Yea prices are stupid for this kit. I'm stalled because I need to scratch a front suspension that looks somewhat realistic. In other words, I painted myself into a corner.
