  1. ADMIN REFEREE POST: THREE words! You can edit and really mess us up! Did you mean 'carrying'? Like it makes any difference.
  2. up diagnostic device
  3. I've had bad luck with the 1/8" shank bits, the flutes are deep, and the metal was brittle, so I broke them in no time. In AZ we have a hobby shop chain called Hobby Bench, I get mine one at a time, no idea who makes them, but that works for me. Huge problem is having to drive to Phoenix.
  4. that bubble-headed bleach-blondes
  5. I have worked a few rallies. At one, I got video of this Evo 6 hooking a wheel in the ditch and rolling it. Love the subject, you did a nice 'before" the race rendition.
  6. with Russian subtitles,
  7. mink massage gloves.
  8. winger protest later.
  9. That came out great! Yea, my memory was getting a "take a test drive" card in the mail, so I did. Compared to my '77 Honda Civic it was a blast!
  10. Looking good! I've not thought about getting one of these, but if I see a screaming deal.....

Glad to contribute the "before" picture. Yea, some people won't touch resin because of the smell. Miss out on subjects not offered otherwise.

This is a great example, of buying a kit when you see it! The company no longer exists, so good luck finding one. I lucked out, and have it in my stash. Yes, one reason I never started it, was the massive amount of cleanup required. Did you sand the body down, because it has a leather-like texture. Some of the white metal parts are bent from normal shipping and moving around. Awesome to see one built! Nice job.

  16. Supercar cool! Tell me what contests you will enter, so I don't look bad. Need to take pictures with everything open, so all the extra detail can be seen?
  17. BURNING MAN FESTIVAL. I've seen the giant VW Bus "Walter" in Jerome, that was there. Black Rock Desert turns into a town of 40,000 pot heads, sex addicts, and wealthy artists. That's where Andy Green broke the speed record and sound barrier, which still stands.
  18. I can totally understand why that guy posted the sign. When my kids went to a charter school, it was aggravating to drop off my kids. One day I went into the office to ask them to do something about it, and Ruthie at the desk looked at me and said "why don't you be the door man?" I thought yea, not a bad idea, good way to serve the community. So every morning I showed up early, and pulled the brats out of the cars and pushed them to the sidewalk and told the parents to get the heck moving along will ya? Seriously, I was nice about it, and most parents appreciated me keeping the line moving along. But some parents were just stubborn jerks, and I let them know it. LOL Did this for 3 years. School gave me an award of appreciation for it, so that is hanging separately from my model awards.
  19. Cool, someone actually built this! You did a fine job! I thought the windows were supposed to be moveable too. Did it assemble ok? I have two in my stash, first one bought on closeout sale from a drug store going out of business when it was a new kit, second a few months ago via Facebook 'Model Car Market' when it was showing in the background of other models, I asked, he offered a reasonable price, snagged it! But what has challenged me to start it, how to do the windows. The concept cars had what looks like NASA gold on helmet visors. Will be experimenting with Alclad gold over clear plastic, no black base of course. Then of course correcting the grill. BMW had two versions of this show car, they had a spyder version which would take more work to modify, and the headlights were different. I have the Autoweek issues, noticed the same license plate for both. Finding chrome BMW badges moved this up my long to-do list.
