  1. This kit has some Carburetors that look like the one pictured
  2. Looks like the ones on the Revell Thunderbolt kits
  3. Darn Still No Girl....
  4. Bill I would Consider Scale Finishes. Jameston, has all the Colors Imaginable in a fine grain pigment, very easy to use, and available for Airbrushing. If you want to step over to the wild side. You could consider using Wicked Colors, or Mission paints. They are Acrylic based paints. The Mission paints are especially good at Coverage without washing out ,or Hiding details.
  5. Any pictures, or Ideas of what the Vega funny car would look like?
  6. Very Snazzy... Any Idea who the Owner was is?
  7. I think I would use some 30 minute clear epoxy to carefully stick it together. Then add some wire in the back section, and fill that in with Epoxy to have it solid. My Cousin owned a Mercury Monarch in about 1978, it was the same Body as the Granada. his had Manual shift 4 speed OD from the Factory, Very Odd.
  8. Is there any Information on the Subject of what Models Hobby Lobby will be selling. Each Quarter
  9. I don't think it would work. Scale Finishes, or Duplicolor would most likely have something.
  10. In the 28 years of model car garage has been in business we’ve never had to face a challenge like what we are right now and most people don’t understand and of course they couldn’t possibly know this but it was my mother who would package 95% of everything that ever went out the door all those years send a little bit ago She was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease and she fell at her home and had to be taken to the hospital and I got a phone call and had to go to the hospital they told me that she could not go home to live with her self anymore and I had to make a decision right then and there on what was going to be done with my mom who of course was a huge part of model car garage so she came home to live with me but at that exact same time I myself was going through a divorce because I had a wife who abandoned me as well Now these are problems that everybody deals with in their life but what this has done is it has slowed down the process of getting things out the door quickly and efficiently and I have been working diligently day and night to get it all straightened out and I have orders that are a month old unfortunately and this is never been the process here at the model car garage with that said my mom wanted to go and visit her daughter And that would allow me to get business put back into a fine running oiled gear you might say and sometime in July my mom will go with my mother for a few months so that I can do just that but in the meantime I’m having to do the very very best I can and everybody’s going to get taken care of because I am a honest man but I have been overwhelmed! If you have an order with us please except my apologies for the delay but know that it will be taken care of and please forgive my miss writing on this as I am using Siri and some of my words may have come out funny It is OK to tell anybody and all about this that I am writing to all of you as this is not a secret anymore Blessings to you and thank you for your patience and thank you for using model car garage as we certainly do appreciate your business very very much Sincerely Bob korunow The Model Car Garage Here is the Quote from FaceBook
  11. I saw the same Post on FB his mother is getting up in years, and she used to do the packaging, also it sounded that a divorce was looming in the background. He certainly sounded Glum, but has promised to take care of his customers. I guess time will tell, Hopefully it works out for Him. MCG is such a huge Value to the Hobby .
  12. Although I would agree the frame is probably the same with the exception of the exhaust cutout. The rear inner fender parts are different on the 3 Window, and possibly others, are different with a kick up on the rear edge. The SD roadster are fairly straight across. I am sure they are interchangeable. I have an SD Roadster on my bench, and tried a Coupe body on the frame for fun ,and this what I found.
  13. I think Drag City castings has some.
  14. Really like the Fireball parts. I would like to them on a Short bed style Pickup
  15. If you want I can spray them with Alclad.
  16. The Engine would probably be a good one to cast SBC, You can't go wrong, plus a modern transmission attached. I personally don't like the blower setup. I switched mine to a 3 Duece intake. The headers are nice, but need a lot of cleanup IMHO.
  17. The tires are Unique to this kit. the entire Revell wheel system is unique as well. But is becoming more common.
  18. Are you going to Cast the tires too Gregg?
  19. Has anyone heard if Model Car Garage. Is going to have a Photo Etched set for these?
  20. Such Huge improvements. Deserve extra added details, such as LED lighting. This would add even more flair to cap off all these great body mods.
  21. MCG used to make some hinges, in PE I used them on a 37 Ford, they work well. Micro Mark sells some small doll house hinges in brass, Randy Ditton used these on his brass built, GT 40 ,and his tow truck. The Smallest brass tube I have found is from special shapes.
  22. I have interest in the 72 chevy pickup or the SOD buster. I have a  66 AMT mustang for trade still sealed. I can provide pictures if wanted.
