  1. Love These Cars. Had a real one once, long ago. I have this Kit too, unfortunately the downfall is the chassis, and the molded in under hood accessories. yours is coming along Fine good luck with your engine detailing. I am sure it will look great.
  2. Hello, Timmy glad your here
  3. Sahuarita is a little south of Tucson. near Green Valley. On the path to Nogales. Green Valley is like a retirement destination. Douglas is like two hours South of Tucson to give you a little perspective. Great Place to be from. Unfortunately it is in one of the Top Ten Worst Places to Live in, in Arizona. My wife has a Couple of Aunts & Uncles and a whole slew of Cousins from there. Whom at the last get together We had, have Migrated to around my Neighborhood come to find out.
  4. Like the progress so far, but why did you remove the hood. Side emblems? They fit so we'll with the refrigerator image.
  5. Steven I just happened to stumble upon the paint today. I have used Anitas acrylic craft paint before for interior colors, and other brands like Wicked colors from Createx, For exterior colors. In compairison to actual Glitter flakes it contains material about an 1/8 the size a fairly good rendition of scale size. Not to get off of the subject, but I did see some color shifting Paints in small quantity, to make it easy to experiment with.
  6. Hello, My question is has anyone tried Ceramcoat glitter paint from Delta. Found some at HL,and wanted to airbrush some on a model, curious to see if others have tried spraying glitter through an AB if so what needle size works best. Thanks, Gabriel.
  7. Hello, I am looking for ideas, and advice on how to enhance the Rear quarter panel trim on My Revell 53 Belair hard top. I am specifically speaking of the gravel guard on the front of the rear fender under the actual Belair script. These are very shallow in the engraving. Thanks, Gabriel.
  8. Where was the majority of the sanding needed? Yours looks very good here.
  9. I think one would look good as a Roadster.
  10. Ha Ha If you can remember the sixties You weren't there.
  11. These would be out of scale size, as there are only three small wires, with some small split loom to protect them from the heat.
  12. when your thru with the body work, would you resin cast it? I would be down for two automatically.
  13. My first time using Createx wasn't that great either, I a fellow modeler. John Pattison do a demo, I really learned a lot about using it,then the Wicked color's came out those work well for me with the duplicolor clear.
  14. I use the 4012 High Performance Reducer, from Createx. I think you could just as easily use alcohol though.
  15. Not too much thinning needed. I usually use 3-5 drops of reducer to a spray cup of paint, and have my pressure at about 20 PSI. I have decent results with this so far.
  16. Have you considered the 6cyl from the 69 Ford F 100 from Moebius.

  18. Magnificent work so far.
  19. very true I had some on my Malibu, and passed many cars that had Crager& Keystone wheels.
  20. Are there any known Resin Casters making the wheels and tires from the Blackforce kit
  21. I was Hoping for 57-60 Ford F-100 Pickups.
  22. I find it helpful to rescribe the lines around the trim before paint. I dont think you can beat the BMF for the large open areas, and would consider the Chrome pens for close tight work. Thats my plan. Yours may vary.
  23. A true work of Art, is exactly how I see this turning out.
  24. Which kit has the Moroso valve covers?
  25. Spoke too Brad last Night ,and He said he would Redraw the Decals for the Dragster, but that he has no way to print them.If you know someone with an Alps Printer then you would be all set.
