  1. Thanks guys. Because of this darned birthday, I have to miss the MAMA meeting in 2 weeks because my wife planned a surprise birthday party in Fredericksburg for me, together with her father , who has a January birthday. But it's a surprise,,,,,,,,,so, therefore, I know nothing about it. Because it's a surprise,,,,,,
  2. I had every intention of getting to this show, but just realized it's the same Saturday as the Pa. club's awards and banquet meeting.
  3. Same club meeting, same models, different photographer. More here: http://public.fotki.com/mamaprez/model-club-meetings-2010/cpmcc-meeting-122010/
  4. They are tailights from Bob Dudek. Bob does some fantastic aluminum work.
  5. I've been off for 5 days for Christmas, so I was able to finish this one. Revell '36 Ford reissue. Kind of a crappy kit, but the tooling is almost 50 years old. It's easier to build and detail it as a roadster, in my opinion. Testors Purplicious paint, lots of polished out clear. Not great flathead, but with enough detailing, it looks fairly good. Replicas & Miniatures Co. of Md. provided the chopped top. Photoetched '38 LaSalle grille and resin surround from Model Car Garage. Wheel covers are '61 Impala with a center bullet. Made the skirts and chromed spears. Molded in rear fenders with DUDEK tailights frenched in. Interior is painted white and Polly Scale "German Mauve". And now,,,,,,,,,on to 2010.
  6. Here's what Irv Arter did with his Modelhaus '56 Merc resin kit.
  7. Due to the predicted "end of the world" snowstorm coming in tonight. See all of you MAMA members in January
  8. from M.A.M.A. and me.
  9. This isn't Classic Plastic. This is the Central Pennsylvania Model Car Club, which meets just outside of York, Pa.
  10. I guess this is what car models will look like when I develope cataracts. From what I can see, it's a '66 Chevelle wagon.
  11. I believe you have the coolest club logo I've ever seen.
  12. I just spent 20 minutes posting one picture, each, of the '32 Fords I've built,,,,,only to find out that they won't post because there are too many. Screw it. If you want to see them, go here: http://public.fotki.com/mamaprez/lyles_mod...rd_street_rods/
  13. All are beautiful builds from one of the top modelers I know. I especially like the Vega. If you give me the Vega, I'll stop telling people you are a transexual from the Dominican Republic.
  14. Put down the blue paint can. Now step away. No one will get hurt. Just put away the blue paint. J/K. All are really nice builds.
  15. I guess you were SO busy, you didn't notice that your Steelers have lost 4 in a row!
  16. "32 Fords,,,,,,let's see now,,,,,,'32 Fords. Nah, I don't think I have any.
  17. Wow. Something I once said wound up in someone's signature quote. Well, I can die happy now because I've left a mark,,,,or, uh,,,maybe a STAIN on society.
  18. Yeah, they will be chromed along with the rub strip on the running boards. I'd like to get to Atlanta NNL some day, but 10-11 hour drive is a little far.
  19. Well, I didn't include the stuff I made for Replicas & Miniatures that isn't cast yet.
  20. The bullets come from the chrome tree that the Revell "rat rod" caps and trim rings are on. I don't even think they are meant to be bullets. I think they are just part of the tree for molding purposes. You probably have a bunch of them, if you didn't throw them away.
  21. 419 pics here: http://public.fotki.com/mamaprez/car-shows...coast-indoor-n/
  22. Those wheels are in most of the Monogram 24th scale "EARLY IRON" series kits. I painted them a steel color.
  23. I won't get anything else finished this year so here's all the stuff I threw together in '09.
  24. This is just beyond COOL !!!!!!!! Love all the little details.
