  1. Great work on the character too!
  2. Very nice! Great work on the chassis conversion. We never give enough credit for the work involved. You nailed it!

    4.3 V6

I'm looking for a 4.3 to go in an Oldsmobile Cutlass. Does anyone have one or know what kits it could be found in?
  4. Nicely done. This one is on my bucket list to build. I'm happy to hear it builds well. You nailed it!
  5. I have glued them to a waxed body with CA glue with no problems.
  6. Very nice. Awesome patina and weathering!
  7. Nice clean build with excellent detailing!
  8. Splendid build. Very nice!
  9. The car is cool, and the bike is even cooler!
  10. I have it from the Lindberg kit. Not sure if it will fit through.
  11. It's a roadster burnout machine.
  12. I have everything but the headlights. I'm building a phantom convertible so I don't need the glass. I'll probably end up making the windshield from clear acetate since it will be seen from both front and back.
  13. Finished! Almost.. The hood will be glued in the open position. I'll post some more pictures in the Under Glass section when I can get some outdoor photos. Thanks everyone for following and for your help and photos!
  14. Completed chassis. Again I used the gray wash pretty much everywhere. The left side exhaust pipe from the v8 fit the 6 cylinder with just a small piece added to connect to the manifold. I painted the exhaust with Testors rust, then dry brushed it with a little silver to bring back the metallic look.
  15. Beautiful build!
  16. Very nice! I think the Fujimi 911 kits are often underrated. They build up into a nice model and yours is a great example.
  17. I think you are right! Photos of the hardtop coupe that I see online have a more raked A pillar. If I knew then what I know now I could have used the whole roof from the '65!
  18. Completed engine bay. I used a gray wash on everything. PE battery terminals, the rest of the details are scratch built.
  19. Had a great trade with ToperMcGinnis. Thanks!
  20. There were also some Monogram NASCAR kits in the 80's that had a tool box, jacks, air compressor, air wrenches etc.
