  1. Sorry for the typo, I meant “that is really fantastic work”
  2. hat is re Fantastic work!
  3. I have a Horizon 1/24 scale resin 1950’s Batmobile. This is long out of production as far as I can tell. This is complete and in very good shape, still in original plastic bags. This is a great kit if you’re interested in Batman items! Would like to trade for something of equal or near equal value, not sure of the value so let me know what you have!
  4. These are supposed to be laughing emojis, I guess it changes to question marks!
  5. I didn’t do much on the windows, I filed the tabs on the windows for a little better fit then bare metal foiled them on the car which was tough for me cause that chrome strip is really small!
  6. Thanks for the tips David! Yours look great! Do you thin the black enamel at all? I’ve tried with acrylic black and I get now why I had horrible luck with it!
  7. Thanks for the comments everyone! So as I was looking at the pictures which to me sometimes make flaws easier for me to see on my models I noticed my grille wash looks like BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH. On this kit it was the first time I tried Tamiya panel line accent on the hood, trunk and door lines, that came out ok I think for a first time! I also used it on the grille and it doesn't look good, should that not be used on grilles and similar stuff? I'm sure this is covered else where but what should I use for grille washes? I have tried thinned black paint, black ink and I just cant seem to kit a nice looking wash on a grille, any tips would be appreciated! Thanks!
  8. This is the 1/24 Aston Martin from the Revell easy click kit. I didn’t want to build this as the James Bond car so I filled in the roof for the ejection seat and the trunk for the bullet proof shield. I put some parts box wheels from the 2000 T Bird and went with some MCW fire mist orange paint, I also cut out the front license plate holder from the bumper. Overall I was pretty happy how it came out but I’m not thrilled with how the wheels fit. Let me know what yo7 guys think!
  9. All items have been traded, thanks everyone! Mods please delete!
  10. Sorry the COE is gone!
  11. Everything but the COE is traded! Thanks!
  12. The Barracuda is spoken for as is the 59 and 61 Fords, Also a fellow member let me know that the COE is actually a GMC and is still available! Thanks! Phil
  13. I have a couple resin bodies I would like to trade! The Barracuda is from an unknown manufacturer and has a kit glass, partial interior and chassis, the 61 Ford 2 door sedan is new and had vacuum formed glass, the 59 Ford wagon is new and the Ford COE is also new and all three are from Jimmy Flintstone. Would like to trade all together but probably can work out splitting them up. Would be interested in kits or maybe some interesting built ups, I can send more pics if needed, let me know what you have! Thanks!
  14. PM incoming!
  15. Looks really good! Closing up the wheel wells and using those tires makes a huge improvement!
  16. Gary thanks for the link ,great info! Mark as always thanks for all the great kit info you have and share on the forum!
  17. 2 questions on some kits, did either the AMT or MPC 70 Camaros ever have a molded in vinyl roof on the kit? Did the promos have a molded in vinyl roof? A friend recently picked up a 70 Camaro that he says has a molded in vinyl roof and the hood is open, I have not seen the model in person but the picture he showed me has a vinyl roof that I could not tell if it was molded and the hood is opening and has a close fit so not sure if it was cut open! Second does the last release of the Lindbergh 1/8 scale T that does not have chrome parts have a styrene interior, roof and seats or is it still the flexible vinyl or what ever the original was made from. This is the one Ollie’s gad a couple years back! Thanks in advance guys!
  18. What would you be looking for?
  19. This is the first diorama that I have built in a really long time, and I only did 2 back then. The shed is a resin “G” scale train item I think, it’s really solid and a little on the heavy side, I figured it was for an outside garden train layout. I attached to a small wood base. I did this very loosely on the shed me and my brother kept our dirt bikes in and his street bike when we were younger! Most stuff was just from the parts box and stuff laying around, the orange bike is from the AMT parts pack that was reissued! Let me know what you guys think and any diorama tips would be appreciated cause I started another!
  20. That is very sharp!
  21. That grille looks awesome! Nice work!
  22. No apologies necessary! , I like seeing other peoples takes on the same kits, the club I used to belong too did a common kit build and that was always cool to see different takes on a kit!
