  1. YEA!!!!! I was right on this one.The thing that gave it away was there was no bllack rubber weathersrtiping along the sides of the roof just above the door.
  2. I am going with MODEL on this one.i know what it is that makes me think this way and I will say it after voting closes. I might even change my vote after it closes, like in ChiTown.
  3. My wife is a great gardener!!! She loves taking seeds and watching them grow to plants and flower. If you have a Lowe's near you, they usually have a clearance section where they take plants that may need some TLC and mark them WAYYYYY down. She has gotten some great plants that look great at the time at next to nothing.I don't know about Home Depot, but they probably do also.
  4. Hi Harry,I had one and sold it on E-Bay about 1 1/2 years ago for $100.It was in very good shape. It seemed that the gearing made it a fast bike. Hope this helps,George
  5. Hey guys, what hints are you talking about? I have been looking for a way to lower stance. BTW,Great looking start on one of my favorite cars. I will be following this build closely.
  6. Aaron, great job on the car!!! Fantastic paint!!! I built mine a few tears ago when I was getting back in the hobby. I love the old funnies.I am trying my hand at the Candies & Hughes now. Very nice attention to the details. What did you use for the chute lines.Looks REAL!!!!
  7. Very nice start!!! I have been thinking about trying my hand at it for my wife. She is a gardener and there are some things she has that are not made anymore. Where did you find your set and how much? A link if online? Thanks a bunch, George
  8. Hi folks,I just wanted to put in my take.I bought a Revell F-18 Fighter. It did not have the instructions or decals. I went to the revell parts order, put in the kit and things needed.I got an e-mail that the order was created on 3/12. Today,I got an e-mail that my things were shipped and would be here in a weekm or so.GUESS WHAT!!!! Today I got an envelope with the instructions and the decal sheet!!!!! KUDOS TO REVELL on this one.
  9. Carl, thanks so much for posting this!!!! I really needed a good laugh today and you did it.
  10. Hi Rich!!!! Your Willys is great.I saw a shot of the slicks with the M&H lettering. What happened to those and did you do the lettering yourself or ?
  11. Dale, those are some GREAT links for Pro Stock!!! I am doing one myself and those will help a lot. Allen, please post pics of yours and I will probably learn from you. Also, those are great pics from Force and Dave. LOVE the older Pro Stocks!!!!
  12. I like a lot of different music. I grew up with the Doors, and a lot of the 60's and early 70's music.I also love some country, mainly female singers,Martina,Carrie,etc... I love The Band Perry and Lady A. Same goes for Pink. So, you see, there is a lot of music I like!!!
  13. I don't know if this has been brought up. I just finished my 41 Willys STREET ROD. I just noticed that it is a STREET rod and it has no windshield wipers!!!! It has a license tag on the decal sheet and a PE front grill!!! I would rather have the chrome grill and some wipers. I have some PE wipers but they are too big and don't have the eyes or skill to modify them. I have looked in other kits, but the Willys has such a small windshield. Rant over!!!
  14. Hi,That paint job is incredible!!! You said you used rattle cans. What type did you use?? Model Master,Tamiya? Thanks,George
  15. Good luck John.I have only had GREAT service from Revell.I had to try to get a missing part or two over the past 5 years and they have been very good at sending me what I needed.I fear that some people abuse it by trying to get parts all the time, and, that is why they say that.
  16. John, how did you shrink the real car to fit in your background??? You did an unbelievable job on this one, especially the GREAT paint job!!!
  17. Walter, are you talking about his engine or mouth!!! I love the guy and he is GREAT for the sport!!!
  18. I built quite a few of 1/16 cars when I was young.Would love to try my hand at one now. ANYTHING the model companies come out with as far as drag cars are concerned is very needed and welcome.
  19. I used to get almost every issue of Hot Rod,Car Craft,Popular Hot Rodding,Super Stock & Drag Illustrated ,and a few more.I still have some of them. This was back in the 60's and early 70's.Now I don't even look inside at the newstand.
  20. Thanks for posting that GREAT video!!! I saw Big Daddy race a lot at the Miami-Hollywood Speedway. Some of my best memories are of him racing!!
  21. I am going with real on this one.
  22. Great looking cars and your lighting and photos are outstanding.were these done indoors or ourside? I love the B&W.Have you tried Sepia?
  23. Hey Stef, that is a really nice idea.I would love to see what you come up with.I think it would be cool for a modeler to scan their completed box art and make it into a poster.I might look into doing that.( If I can ever finish a build!!!) Just kidding.
  24. Look at it this way,you now have a valuable collectors item worth a ton of money!!!
  25. I remember you could change skins. Then we had that problem that required all new software and everything had to be moved to here.I think Gregg said that that option was not going to happen here..I wish we could get it back as some of them were cool and did actually make it easier to read.
