  1. unless you have major body imperfections that need sealer I would mist your color coats on over the white primer and then clear it. if you shoot grey sealer on it will take at least 3 if not 4 color coats to get the right tint..and it may still be darker than you want.
  2. Guys if the paint is warm and the body is cold....your gonna have issues....try for everything at the same warm temperature.
  3. To slam it both front and rear must get cut....look here at my 32 sedan.....the front has a major Z...and the rails are on the ground. The rear hasn't been touched. Z'd 32 for more Zs look in my photobucket the 29 and 34 both have Z'd frames front and rear
  4. One of the most critical steps is the temperature that you spray in 75 to 80 works best...really lets the paint flatten out as it drys yes too close and its run city...
  5. I'm just glad I found it "over there" cause when Jim went off ..I FOUND MCM!!!! Yep Thanks Harry!!
  6. Made up some headers from solder and K&S alum tubing. They tie into the kits glasspacks and pipes....nope not draggin!!!
  7. polishing future really does not work well.wet sanding is not any better. You can try the micro mesh or Meguires scratch X I would suggest refining your future application...future is self leveling so the scratches must be under....polish them out before future
  8. C'mon Harry......Rise and shine.....I want to SEMA if I'm right!!B)

  15. I love the truck...sets just right. and the air shocks in the rear....well done! imho dump the ram air and tubes......they cover all the details you put in there....I do not think the screen on the box is up at the same level as is the rest of that beauty
  16. I shoot with lacquers and fresh DOT3 will strip a body bare in 12 to 14 hours if its kept between 75 and 80

  19. I don't know if TSA works the buses.....if they do they might think you are Mc Givier with all that "stuff"
  20. Dry time as long as 2 hours?????? awful lot of time for debris to fill into your paint........... WHOA...HOLD UP JUST A SECOND............are you talking cure or flash time?? Most lacquers will be cured in that time, so you can tape out for a second color...I just do not see where this is going.....also there is a difference between reducer and thinner.....
