The 062 solder works well for small block headers. As far as exhaust pipe if you mark your bends in solid plastic rod you do not need heat...just bend it slow...You can add tips from tubing...easy to polish

just about any hardware store will carry it. I will tell you that it airbrushes well if thinned with alcohol..other wise good luck out of the can...awful nozzels. It works well if applied over a layer of primer, as it doesn't have a lot of tooth. Then recoat with primer and hit it with color. Some will tell you that metalizers also will work....again I shoot hot lacquers and this is the 1 trick...I do use all 3 types of duplacolor primers on a normal basis...but BIN seals the best since Floquil removed "barrier" from the shelves

And when none of these will cover red bleed thru(Firefighter mustang)..Bob Downie reccomends using "BIN' sealer between layers of primer I tried duplacolor sealer and even silver...I shoot hot lacquers so bleeding is a problem with some colored plastics. If you shoot Tamiya colors, as Mark does, use the Tamiya primers....if you can get them

I might of suggested dipping a old toothbrush in some 70% alcohol let the excess drip off the brush and a soft rub, it will be gone. DO NOT wash the tire...soft brush....soft scrub will also work, but tends to leave a white crud.

well Ross Gibson sells a lot of resin motors between 20 and 30 dollars...Others cast manifolds or valve covers...So the experienced builders do use those goodies...

I'm likin that motor.....

Donn is right on...I assumed that you would wash the body off before repainting...I use 2 drops of dawn in water to cut fingeroils.
