  9. not quite true..different compression settings along with larger image size does change perceived resolution...not to mention image degradation in jpeg I will still say largest image size and lowest compression (4x5 vs110 and ISO 25 vs 1600) I will stick with a large negative (or positive) and finest ISO and as much light as I can get
  10. OH BOY!!!!!As a member of the photo industry for 3 decades....I love silver. That said I could not tell you when I last used my Hasselblad , Leicas, or even the 4x5...Give me a good programmable digital with a 12x optical zoom and bring it on. I showed people in my store for years that a good cheap single use camera will take great, sharp photos...if you know what your doing!! No more countless hours in the darkroom with all the smells, and work. Now I put my card in and enjoy the editing with a cold drink in a comfy chair. Nope I have no need to switch back to silver images....unless I want to be a Clyde Butcher the Artist.

  19. I must say my efforts are not as good as this kit is!! Even with all the cutting I've done the assembly is as smooth as I have ever done, due to the precision fit of this kit!! Tried some interior ideas Thanks to Cranky and Alex Kustov...the interior is a combination of their techniques and my own take. As I did a lot of lowering for this build my assembly sequences are different than the kit normally would have...and I am still not fighting anything at all!!!Thank you to Gary Stevens, Jairus Watson, and the Galaxie crew for this great kit!! Detail painting and matching sunvisors....check out those blue dots!!
  20. Wowser Bruce......well done!!!!
  21. Read your MFGR supplied info sheets.....they tell it all , ratios, temp, pot life, safety tips for proper use. Any place that sells these products should have all the sheets including MSD...they also will tell you what works if you ask. Also urethane colors do not need hardener, the clears do. You can also shoot clear lacquer over a urethane base
