The original Starsky & Hutch Gran Torino aka: Red Tomatoe And the street rod from American Graffiti movie. Most likely not the original but sure looks darn good -

Not on the road but at a local Art Institute that is held every July. Sunday they have their annual car show. Ya gotta admit... thus one screams ROAD TRIP !!!! The curtains on the right side of the car is actually for a shower. LOL! -
Anyone watch A4 Garage?

I have no words... incredible work. May have to experiment for one of my '57 Chevy kits for the doors. Looks pretty straightforward to do. Hood a bit complicated. Trunk less complicated but doable. Didn't mention how he glued finished hinges in place. My guess super glue. -
As if.. ROFLMAO!

I wished I had picked up the Tri-Motor when I had the chance. Oh well, next time... -

Heard about it this morning.

Watching FUBAR on Netflix. Pretty good series worth watching.

I won't watch it. Don't want to watch a movie on child trafficking. The phrase "Sound of Freedom" to me only pertains to military jet noise. Nothing else... not even the movie title made sense to me except it was a quote used in it.

Traffic and construction in Pennsylvania. Travelled to Delaware for family vacation Sunday, returned last night on Wednesday. Horrible traffic on Rt. 476 going to and returning home from Delaware. Wednesday morning, it took me 45 minutes to travel 5 freaking miles going North on 476 all because of a stupid accident near or before the Pennsylvania Turnpike. I absolutely and always have hated driving through Pennsylvania. Too many stupid drivers in a hurry to go nowheres - especially in major city areas.

Ollie's strike again

Ollies is not a hobby store but a store filled with last years, or previous years’ excess junk. Don5 get me wrong, you’d be surprised what can find there especially hardcover books at dirt cheap prices. I’ve picked up a couple in the past - mostly historical reads or aviation/auto related books. -
Well done!

Because the market has gotten so flooded, they can’t sell it. Nobody wants them anymore and they will eventually be worthless. -

Yup. I've grabbed a few HW in the past (loose and in blister packs) because I liked them as classic muscle cars. Heck, I still have my old HotWheels and Matchbox cars from my youth years. I passed them down to my son when he played with them as a kid all the time. I still have them - including the original Thundershift track. LOL! -

Yup. It's the same with baseball cards - the whole market is flooded. Only chase cards hold value. I used to collect baseball cards and stopped collecting 25 years ago. Folks paying stupid money for high end baseball card packs. Dealers aren't any better charging ridiculous prices on single cards. I get it with older vintage cards from the eary beginnings, 50s thru the mid 90s then until the steroid era kicked in. -

Heh... reminds me of the days where Starting Lineups sports figures were highly sought after. We used to.go.on the hunt for that elusive superstar figure at Toys R Us, KayBee Toy and Hobby, JM Fields/Bradlees/Target, and other retail stores at the time. Is it wrong? Does it really matter to you if you're not a Hot Wheels collector? No different than sports trading cards, Legos (yes, Legos. Once a certain subject is discontinued, it's harder to find and pricey), even model kits. -

Stopped by my local Ollie's store yesterday. This is what they had in stock. I'm definitely interested in the '60 Ford Ranchero and the Copperhead dragster kits -
Heh... had you inquired Rochester, NY area LHS, I woukd have recommended Performance Hobbies in Webster.
