Some things that hurt a hobby
BlackSheep214 replied to Plasticated Guy's topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
I've been noticing this trend of these "Treasure Hunt" Hot Wheels in blister paks - particularly at Walmart and Walmart only. I've seen it in my 2 local Walmart stores. I'm finding some of the blister paks in a blue cardboard box with tabs that hangs them on the rack torn off to deter collectors from buying them in mint condition. Not sure if it's the Walmart employees or collectors doing it themselves so no one else gets them untouched and mint condition. Has anyone else seen this at your local Walmart stores? -
That would be an awesome kit to build! Love it!

Ha! He beat me to it. My thoughts exactly. Far left looks like they used an old oil can for something. I agree. We'd love to see the rest of the automobile. What automobile was it?

Mustang wagon did exist...

He was a strange bird. Never was watched his movie or TV show. His portrayal of Pee Wee' laugh and 8b9nnoyed the heck out of me. I know he got arrested for lewd behavior exposing himself in public.

Wow.... that's poor customer service from top to bottom. I don't care what the supervisor ... or so he/she call themselves says. I guess they don't believe the customer is always right. Sounds like they don't want to be bothered.

Sounds like you want the mods to do what finescale used to do. Look at their forum site now. A majority of members have left because of it - myself included. Pretty dismal there in the last few years.

Wow. Didn't hear this til now.

Pfffft.... Fast & Furious.... stupid movie series. Not a sanctio rd racing movie per say and othing to do with oval or drag racing. More geared to street racing.

Gran Turismo is coming to theaters soon.

Zolland Design (great inspiration!)

Oh give it a rest. I see nothing political in a few of the posts. We're all tired of the mods thinking certain posts will offend others. Remember this... you most likely watched shows like All in the Family, Good Times, The Jeffersons and other like minded shows of the 70s. Did you find them offensive? Probably not. Why? Because it was comedy and it dealt with REAL LIFE situations back then, not about being racist or offending others. I could care less about offending these snowflakes who are easily offended in the truth.

Yeah.... until you hit a speed bump, bump in the road, a graded ramp, railroad tracks, etc... Unless they're equipped with air ride suspension typical found in most lowriders. If not, you're too stupid to drive such a car like that. The Vette is nice. Not a fan of low profile tires. They've got to be murder when driving on roads with potholes, bumps, etc... -
Same old same old stuff. That '55 kit is a good one.
-
Stopped by local HL for s**ts & giggles. 40% off this week and they had the same old, same old junk.
-
Yup... or fox, coyote, vultures, etc... Similar incidents are everywhere where folks are completely clueless to know to leave wild animals alone. Yellowstone has the most idiotic & stupid tourists getting too close to wild animals or trying to "rescue" Bison calves - which BTW, rangers end up euthanized them.
-
Wild or domestic rabbits... irrelevant. Google relocating baby rabbits from nesting den.
-
I would NEVER disturb the baby rabbits. Leave them alone where you found them. Momma rabbit is probably nearby. Now you’ve already relocated and separated the babies from the momma, they WILL NOT survive. The momma rabbit will not find her babies. Don’t believe me, google it.

You can't fix stupid....

Looking back at that '55 Plymouth wagon.... that would be an awesome kit to build. One could do it with a '55 Chevy Nomad. But hey... we need to see more lesser known Plymouth kits in this hobby. Are you paying attention Round2? LOL!
