  1. Actually, it not disgusting nor new. Back in the early 80s, I used to work at JC Penny's as a janitor part time while in high school. One of the jobs is clean both men's AND women's restrooms. It is found in women's restrooms and believe it or not, in a gender neutral staff restroom at one elementary school. Yes, feminine products... be it tampons, pads, even paper towels do clog up toilets. Women are very messy people when using public restrooms. Very messy. Ask your wife or female family members. Believe me when I tell you this... I've seen far more unmentionables in toilets aside from human waste. And women tell us to aim when peeing. Heh... they're a lousey shot themselves when squatting whether they do number 1 or number 2. So you wanna see disgusting? Go in a ladies public restrooms and see for yourself. BTW... it's assume, not asume. LOL!
  2. To be honest, I wouldn’t know since I never watched South Park. Not my kind of cartoon…
  3. Today was a better day now that rain was in the forecast last night. Skies were clear of smoke and I can finally see clouds and an occasional speck of blue sky. Air did smell a tiny bit of smoke but as the morning wore on, it was fresh air. Visibility was 100% better. There is rain tonight and is in our forecast tomorrow. Had to laugh at the NY Post front page - BLAME CANADA. That’s partially true but blame the wind too. Weather has a factor in this too.
  4. I live in the Mohawk Valley and today was worse then yesterday. The AQI reading is way off the charts. Last I seen it was at 491. This morning, the sun was blood red. Eerie... Right now we got rain and rain is in the forecast the next 2 days. Supposedly the smoke is going to clear out by Saturday. We'll see....
  5. Your first mistake was opening the email with URGENT in caps. I'd delete without a second thought.
  6. Senile old women drivers....
  7. Complete idiotic morons that are just too F’n dumb and stupid to leave wildlife alone in Yellowstone National Park. Two news articles yesterday with one dumb*** taking a baby elk to a nearby police station. The other even just as dumb as the other tried to save a Buffalo calf by the river’s edge. Sadly (and needlessly) both had to be euthanized. Even more so it just p***es me off are tourist can’t or don’t understand the rules of staying away from wildlife in the park. I’ve seen far too many stupid people getting mauled, gored, whatever by Buffalo, elk, bears, etc… What is wrong with people? After seeing/reading reports of stupidity amongst Yellowstone tourists, I have zero desire to go there. Too many tools missing from the toolbox. No wait, the whole toolbox is missing. Tourists that have gotten mauled, gored, trampled by Yellowstone wildlife deserve it. The Yellowstone rangers should fine tourists heavily ($10,000 sounds like a fair fine) for getting close to wildlife - be it petting them, getting too close to them, attempting to “save” baby wildlife to “rejoin the herd”, etc… Rant over…
  8. Now show these yuppie youngsters and ask what it’s for. LOL! They’ll be mind blown….
  9. That irritates me as well. Why, I'll never understand. We bought our house in '98, done numerous renovation from replacement windows (we try to replace 2 a year when we can afford to), done both bathroom remodels, and the last major remodel we've done was our kitchen during the pandemic. Opened up the wall between the kitchen and DR was finally done. Made the rooms much better flow. Next year, we're replacing our original picture window and maybe the DR windows. Once that's done, only the den and a single kitchen window are left - aside from the garage window.
  10. Yeah. I'm not a fan of keyless starts. One can easily forget to turn the vehicle off and walk away but not without the vehicle sounding off a warning that your vehicle is still running. I own a Hyundai Kona with keyless push button start. I have a love / hate relation with that car.
  11. What political humor? I don’t see it….
  12. Been there many times. Take a break away from the bench.
  13. Give me Audrey, Rita and or Joyce instead..
  14. I just threw up my lunch and last night's dinner.
  15. This was taken last year in Ottawa, Canada. I asked the police officer if i could take a picture with him. Gotta love the police red beret.
  16. Yeah, JW always come in pairs. LOL!
  17. Fond memories. My sister & I had a ton of those Viewmaster reels growing up. From Dakari to Woody Woodpecker. We never knew what happened to them after my grandmother died in '95. Probably went to the auction. Thanks for sharing the link.
  18. But... I did plant flowers on all 3 graves of my family - 2 served in the military - my dad in the Navy (after Korea) and my grandfather (b. 1900; d. 1980) whom I was very close to, served during WW1 months before Armistice was declared. My dad's father never served in the military - too young for WW1, too old for WW2.
  19. Amen! Last night as I was enjoying a read, I'm hearing fireworks going off in my neighborhood. I'm thinking who the hell shoots fireworks off on Memorial Day weekend!?!? Of course, they were these stupid Bosnian/ Russians/ Ukrainians neighbor that think Memorial Day is for fireworks. Irritated the hell out of me that they don't understand the true meaning of Memorial Day. These idiots don't get it as a day we celebrate in quiet remembrance to those that sacrificed their lives.
  20. Lemme guess on the religious pamplets.... Jehovah Witness
  21. I get all kinds of junk emails telling to confirm my order when I know I rarely order anything online. These scammers must think we're that stupid.
  22. Great points and no arguments from me. I agree with the first statement above. No truer words spoken.
  23. That is a very good possibility. Article did say the Black Ghost would appear at certain nights to race and then disappear for a spell. Seems like he randomly shows up whenever he feels lucky. Again, it did mention Black Ghost did get beaten... but rarely. Was it a legend of folklore? Or was it just a local legend on Woodward Ave.? A lot of money for an automobile in my opinion but I get it if it was a one of a kind with the options. I am curious what the buyer will do to the Black Ghost. Race it? Daily driver? Cruiser and/or show car?
