Is it just me or are Verizon phone rates way too high?
BlackSheep214 replied to Monty's topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
I pay $30/month per phone thru Spectrum (3 phones) -
Ollie's strike again
BlackSheep214 replied to GLMFAA1's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Yes. Nothing really got my attention on those selections of model kits. -
Make-up/beauty supplies, clothes, shoes, etc…

I never use any chili packets - thats the lazy/cheater way to make chili. Ground beef, onions, bell pepper, tomato sauce, spices (chili powder, garlic salt, pepper, etc...) is all you need.

Edison Diesel-Electric Truck
BlackSheep214 replied to Richard Bartrop's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Until it runs out of charge and gets himself stranded in the middle of the highway during rush hour. Lol! A truck body attached to a tank frame? I'm sorry but that is not a tank. A real tank would weigh more than that with a turrent attached to it. Big difference in weight. -
Edison Diesel-Electric Truck
BlackSheep214 replied to Richard Bartrop's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I don't know. Not convinced or impressed. It really doesn't prove anything especially with a pickup on a bulldozer/tank frame with threads. A full size bulldozer or even a M1 Abrams tank should have been used to make a proven impression. Better yet, the cost of an EV Semi would surpass a typical top of the line diesel power Semi. Nobody could afford one. -
Good thing it hasnt been invented yet...

Weird issue with the board. Anyone else?

I didn't have issues using Prev and Next button on both iPad or phone. Could it be a glitch in the program? -
In response to Tom G ... I thought you have to have an eBay account to buy items. I never heard ofbuying as a guest. Am I missing something or is this a recent new eBay option.

I completely forgot about Cindy Snow. You are correct Terri came after Cindy.

There’s been incidents where insurance companies are writing them off as totaled on fender bender dents. No insurance company is going to pay out for repair damages on EVs. As far as vehicles running on hydrogen? Nope….

And Terri. She replaced Chrissy...

I heard a story from a co-worker the other day a relative or friend (can’t recall which) took the EV Ford F-150 on a road trip and ended up getting stranded in the middle of nowhere after losing its charge. He got out and walked and managed to hitch hike a ride to the nearest Ford dealer in the next town. Went in and bought a gas-powered Ford F-150 and traded his EV F-150. The dealership inquired where is the truck and the owner told him it’s out on Route whatever, go get a tow truck and it’s yours.

Amen, brother. Always hated EVs. Even former EV owners are starting to hate them and swallowing their pride after the fact.

Ollie's strike again

Yup... basically the exact same stock at my local Ollie's store. Nothing caught my eye to buy. -

Best concert you've been to
BlackSheep214 replied to Hard_2_Handle_454's topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
Same here. Hard to pin one particular concert. Concerts I've been over the years: Hall and Oates Miami Sound Machine Styx John Cougar Mellencamp Beach Boys - 3 times; most recent one a couple months ago. Cheap Trick Billy Joel at the Carrier Dome Rick Springfield Bryan Adams at MSG Concerts I never saw but wished I had The Police Rolling Stones Meatloaf George Thorogood & the Destroyers Tom Petty Alice Cooper - regretted I passed seeing him in Utica last year. REO Speedwagon Rob Zombie -
Curious question... how does a seller list a selling price with free shipping? I've always thought the seller determines the cost of shipping (or include free shipping), not eBay. But yeah... $62 shipping is ridiculous. Then again enamel paint is flammable so I sort of see a reason there. Maybe their country has strict policies shipping hobby paint overseas be it acrylic, enamel, or lacquer.

I watched Breaking Bad after my sister-in-law told us about it. My wife liked it. I struggled to watch the whole series at the end. I hated it because all the characters got on my nerves. LOL! Better Call Saul was a hard pass for me. I had enough of that character on Breaking Bad. LOL!

The top 5 builds that you've done......
BlackSheep214 replied to JollySipper's topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
Best 5 builds? No such thing... All my builds are the best. LOL! -
Ya'll are hypocrites. First you ban a fellow member for no reason because he posted a Confederate flag and yet you, the moderators allow The General Lee kit WITH the rebel flag viewed for all to see. Which are you - the kettle or the pot? Obviously, the mods seem to pick and choose what's offensive and what's not. Apparently, this General Lee isn't offensive to post. If you're gonna delete offending posts, why is the other flag allowed to be posted on this forum thread? I could care less because I loved watching The Dukes of Hazzard on Friday nights. The Confederate flag really doesn't bother me because like it or not, it is part of our American history's past. Theres not a **** thing anybody can do to erase it. Frankly, I'm just about sick and tired of folks here getting thin skinned and offended over stupid trivial stuff of our history's past. Get over it... Either allow the General Lee kit as a finished kit; (A great build BTW) be allowed to be posted or delete the thread. They're your forum rules, not ours. Make up your mind.

Made a side trip to HL for s*!t$ and giggles. They rearranged their aisles yet the model kit selection looked to be downsized on their stock compared to the last time I stopped by. Wouldn't be surprised it will go the way Micheals did with their model kit section.
