Yep, need a pic of the actual break. Adding material to both sides of the break would be your best bet. Some thin aluminum rod would be best I'm thinking.

Yeah, most of our community builds are either open ended or are started/ended whenever the tread originator wants. If you want to start an annual event, by all means do so, but have a good look at the CBP section so your not redoing a genre already in progress.

Although I'm disappointed that we didn't get some lowered suspension components I gotta agree with Casey. Reissues like these are a fact of life and if they want to do stuff like this while they are also giving us new molds I say LET EM! If they had just reissued this as a California Wheels version, no one would be whining. Sorry guys but the '50 Olds, 48 Ford, 49 Merc, the Deuces, the Choppers and the upcoming '62 Vette will buy a lot of slack from yours truly.

Excellent mock-up. However you might want to get rid of the brush paints and invest in some spray cans. Whether you use cans or an air brush, the best way to improve your skills is to spray everything you can. Bottles and brushes is for detailing only in my opinion.
