  1. I'd like to see a 57 effie.
  2. 3D scanning is going to be Round 2's (and possibly other companies) key to restoring all those old kits that were lost. Let's here it for the future!
  3. X✌️ I'd also like to see any Lincoln Marks!
  4. That's something I never thought I'd ever see again after the brewery boycott on 90s NASCAR kits.
  5. At first I thought this was a 3d printed model kit. I didn't realize it was a "kid size" kit!
  6. Paul, that's an interesting list! Here's mine: Bentley/Rolls Royce from the 70s-80s. Jaguar XJ6. An accurate fox body Capri RS. 80s Cadillac Eldorado. 70s Cadillac Seville. 60s-70s Triumph TR4, Tr6 or Spitfire. A nice Auburn Speedster. 70s Stutz Blackhawk. 77-78 Thunderbird. Cordoba with "Real Corinthian Leather" Dodge Magnum XE
  7. They blew a gasket. From loneliness. I had some old Testors paint cans in the garage that did the same thing. I figured it was age, temperature and neglect. I threw them out. I do remember they gave off a bad smell as the solvents leaked out. I can't imagine having them leak indoors. Hope yours didn't make a big mess.
  8. Yeah, but you'll get a great tan while racing it.
  9. I usually build like color sub-assemblies before painting anything (engine/trans with painted valve covers, manifolds, fuel pumps, oil filters, etc.) or (chassis, suspension, subframes, mounts - sometimes radiator core supports) (bodies with bumpers, front grille areas and rear tailpans) Then I can paint it all at once and minimize messy glue joints for the major parts. I find that detail painting the small glued-on parts easier than trying to glue them on after they've been painted.
  10. Who's the Kevorkian Bros, did they own a towing company?
  11. https://www.metalgearinformer.com/?p=29174
  12. A door opening is not just a smooth jamb to the interior. There are folds and transitions that are stamped into the metal. That being said, you could research the way the door jambs look on the real car and integrate it into the pieces you'll have to scratch to fill in the missing areas. Also including the reinforcement while you're adding plastic. If you have to lower the floor to make it level, now's the time to do it while it's all open.
  13. Yeah, that would be - Don't toss out anything!!! I actually have the Turbo Estate that I found in decent built condition some years ago at a kit show. Got it cheap, I had no idea that they were so valuable! I like oddball cars, and this one is cool.
  14. That looks nice! Is that an Auto World issue from last year?
  15. Easy to do, they've all been pretty much in constant release since the 60's
  16. That's a nice one! I was never really a fan of the the F350 Camper Special that AMT made. Always wished it was just an F150 instead.
  17. Two great trades with Gjorenby. He sent me great stuff - twice! Apparently, USPS can't read clear, correct addresses. Thanks again!
  18. Cool, glad to see it back on the queue. Hope it looks like the old Desert Rat. Wouldn't that mean it's supposed to have a BBC power plant?
  19. Me too! That's why I thought it was Disney. Be cool if Polar Lights did a tool copy of this kit like they did with other Aurora kits. IE: The Undertaker, and Addam's Family mansion.
  20. I've mixed acrylic paint with a small amount of glass cleaner. Thins well and dries fast.
  21. I remember using the A-team van suspension on a 70s square body p/u, seemed to fit fine. Bonus, the front wheels then steered.
