  1. That's a cool idea, looks good!
  2. Think this one ended up at Barrett Jackson? Last I read, it was in a garage fire and got scorched on the top.
  3. This one's for 72GP Hey look it's David Cassidy!
  4. Compared to some of these other cars, yours was mild. Thanks for adding.
  5. Found this site on Tumblr with pictures of muscle cars in their native habitat. Some are cool, some are tacky, but all can inspire that next project. You can practically hear the loud exhaust. All are from back in the day and NONE of them have 22" wheels! https://70sstreetmachines.tumblr.com/
  6. When, when. Here's my money. WHEN!!!
  7. Looks like you'll still need to scrounge up headlights that fit.
  8. I could use that! It's gotta be better than the AMT convertible body that we have available. I like the standard flat hood too. Not paying 40 dollhairs for just the body though. Maybe somebody will want to trade something for it someday. I heard these kits used ex-promo bodies. That's why they're stock configuration.
  9. That Fairlane looks as though it's got a little "banana" in it's fenders too!
  10. Oh they pondered them, they just didn't have the means to make them reality. Now we've been to space, took pictures of the earth and there are people who still believe it's flat!
  11. Seems to me, there used to be a time when automobile manufacturers would build a car anyway you wanted it. Be it blue with red interior, A/C without tinted windows (it has been done!), CB radio with radio delete, or whitewalls on a big engine muscle car. If it was on the option on the list and could be done - it was done. Nowadays with option packages, there's no "Ala Carte" choices. Package A, B or C, that's it! Makes it cheaper for them to build it, but I don't see it cheaper for us to buy it.
  12. I know this is an old thread, but I just found the rest of the kits online to complete the series. I couldn't find any others. Enjoy!
  13. I would have never considered a 4x4 ElCamino, but your build makes it look good! Makes me wonder why Monogram didn't do this when they had the "High Roller" series back in the early 80s. If they could do it with a 69 Camaro, then why not this?
  14. Nice work! Color looks great.
  15. Both look sweet! Subie looks tough with those wheels. Is the VW the recent ESCI reissue or the AMT/Matchbox original?
  16. If you have both kits, you could try to see if the 67 body fits the 66 chassis without too much trouble.
  17. 66 GTO grille 67 GTO grille
