  1. My store has had the Wild Hoss Bronco and the 66 Chevelle and they just put out the 37 Ford pickup, 56 Thunderbird, 81 Camaro Z28, 67 Corvette, 34 Ford Sunoco pickup..... And the Toyota Supra!!! Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy!!! Still haven't seen the 71 Olds yet.
  2. Thanks Snake, his boxes are my favorite!
  3. Well, at least the starter pinion is going to be well oiled! And it does look like he got the exhaust manifold installed correctly. I can't criticize, when I began building, I remember vague instructions too.
  4. Can you post some examples of his boxart? I'd like to know what his style was.
  5. What a great idea! I can see a couple more cars that cry out for this technology. IE: BTTF Delorean and KITT!
  6. Maybe he should've taken the shortcut?
  7. I think somebody here previously wrote about somebody at Revell (Ed Sexton, perhaps?) wanting to do a kit of the Lincoln, but had to compromise with this version.
  8. Hobby Lobby has a space saved for it!
  9. How did they get away with that? Better buy the first runs, in case there ends up being a "cease and desist" later on!
  10. Sure doesn't look like the Monkee Mobile, maybe Barris already bought it and claimed it as his own. ?
  11. Also looks like, judging by the current inventory, that many of those Revells will be $37-$39.99. While many of the AMTs hover around $29.99-$32.99. Except the 72 Chevy ramp truck which jumped to $39.99! That's big rig prices, folks! Better grab the rigs you see now before they jump up too!
  12. These cars always remind me of the opening scene from the Italian Job. Fell in love with the car ever since.
  13. Great job!
  14. "Are you reelin' in the years? Throwin' away the time? Are you gathering up the tears? Have you had enough of mine?" Love that song, thanks for the memories Terry.
  15. I'm watching. I need some inspiration to build mine!
  16. Not unless they did that movie BEFORE Mad Max. That car didn't end well.
  17. Very well said, Alan. It does seem that lately, I'm having a problem finding putty that sticks to dried snot balls. Maybe I'll post it in the "Modeling Questions". ? Anybody know where I can get resin parts and photo etch for these projects?
  18. I would love to have been able to see a picture of that haul! Do you remember any of the stuff that you got?
  19. Yeah, 165 on the straights, 155 average the entire race and led from beginning to end. Car won 2 laps ahead of the first Corvette, 8 laps ahead of Ferrari and to top it off, Mercedes bought the car just to see what was in it! Who says American muscle can't compete! Top this off with Ford annihilating Ferrari at LeMans in 66 to take that smug look off of Enzo's face. No wonder he was going broke at the time.
  20. In this day and age, someone could do a good 3D print of one!
  21. And Atlantis didn't get any of them....
  22. I've got one of those kits, I'm gonna have to find me some of that color! Beautiful inside and out!
  23. Beg to differ. http://www.ohc6.com/history.html
  24. I wonder if that's the same one that AMT used for their replica?
  25. That one is definitely a labor of love. Quite a lot of bodywork. Nice save!
