  4. Perfect stance. Nice work.
  5. Scratch built? WOW amazing work.
  6. Very sharp. Excellent paint.
  7. Excellent recreation. Nice build.
  8. Very nice. Great pics too!
  9. Sharp! Good color choice.
  10. Thanks all! For the fenders I sectioned in part of another body. About the redlines, I couldn't decide which to use so I went with one set on each side. They come off and are easily replaced.
  11. Thanks.
  12. Finally finished this one up, my latest build. The result of a "rebuild restore" CBP on another forum. Long strange trip, tried a few new ideas and techniques and learned a lot with this build. It fought me every step of the way and really, really tried to get smashed to bits several times. Glad it's done. Here it is...warts and all. Started with this old build up Somehow ended up here. Build album here if interested. Thanks for looking http://public.fotki.com/bigfordpilot/my_built_model_cars/built_models/in_progress/65-impala/
  13. Looks like there was Mercedes in the mix too?
  14. I agree 100% This is the yellow box art version on my "to do" list.
  15. That is a good kit. Wonder if the Lincoln will be far behind?
  16. When overcomplicateditus sets in I like to do a simple box art style build, older the box the better.
  17. I just shot some pics of my copy of this kit for a discussion on another board, Thought I'd drop it in here in case anyone was curious about this kit or has never seen one. It looks to my eye to be close to 1:24 scale. My father built one for me when I was a kid and it was my favorite toy. I put many miles on it running my back yard and living room "roads". Enjoy.
  18. I'd like a 56 Buick kit. I think this would have "legs" as far as production and profit goes.
  19. I picked this up today. Might be old news to some of you but I haven't had one in a while. Classic kit, lots of cool parts. I like it. I picture me doing a box art drag version build with it.
  20. Welcome Matt, another native Iylanduh here. Suffolk County born and raised. Living in Florida now.
  21. Low and sleek. very sharp.
  22. Sounds like a fun build!
  23. Here you go Elvin. Looks like with a little work you could build something cool out of it. I think the later releases have some chrome parts. This is my PYRO original.
