Thanks Steve, not sure I deserve all that but with your impeccable building skills and style you should have no problem! Very much looking forward to seeing what you do with yours.
I'm not a "guy" guy when it comes to NASCAR. I'll leave all that for my wife. I'm interested in the cars and the technology put into them. Like I said above, I'll buy a few of the Fords, just for fun and be happy about having a new rendition.
I'll get a few of those Fords even if they are snappers.Would be fun builds and a nice diversion from all the styrene surgery I've got going on around here and I haven't built a NASCAR racer in a long time. I hope the aftermarket decal people step in on these.
For us old timers, reissue the Little T in original form with newly tooled parts to build a Little Rod or Little drag. I would definitely buy at least three.
And while we're at it...maybe even a Little Tub?
I'll wait until I see a true production model being driven on the road before I decide if I like it or not. It took a while for the current generation to grow on me but it eventually did after seeing many of them in person.
Good nostalgic shot there at least for me any way. That looks a lot like the one we had when I was a kid, Colonial White over Cumberland Green. Ours had T-Bird wheel covers on it and a white steering wheel. We even towed a boat similar to that. I'll be getting a few...even if it has a few flaws. Thanks.
For the record, Chevrolet introduced the 265 for the 1955 model year while Ford introduced the 239 OHV Y Block for the 1954 automobile model year.
I also think that the subject car would look better with even stock small block Chevy script valve covers keeping with the theme of the rest of it.
