  1. Curt, You've got those elves working overtime!! Do you pay them by the hour or by the job? Between the awesome builds you've been putting out and the Bugatti Tank car, it's no wonder I haven't heard from you in a few days... As I recall, those old MPC kits were a bit finicky to build, but this looks GREAT!! Later,
  2. Very nice build, Bernard!! It actually took me longer from the time we talked about it to get down to the past office to send it to you than it did for you to build it!! That's proof that it is one of the ultimate Shake 'n' Bake kits of all time!! The Torq Thrust wheels and the sponsor markings look right at home with the primer gray finish. The chassis shots with the engined dechromed look GREAT, too!! I like the way you modified the interior with the original tunnel and the de-blinged door panels to match the overall feel of the car. In the end, it all looks right together. I may have to build one similar to yours as one of my backyard diorama kits for this year's NNL West. Later,
  3. Curt, my old friend, you are nucking futz!! Look at all of those rivets!! You should start building brass HO trains!! This thing is really coming along nicely!! Keep up the GREAT work!! Later,

    Rat Rod

Yeah...what he said!! This really is a nice piece!! All of the weathering looks so realistic. Thanks for sharing,
  5. Another sweet build from one of our resident race car builders!! It's going to cost you more in freight fees than it will for your airline ticket to bring all of your builds from this year to the next NNL West!! See you there...
  6. This is coming together very nicely. For a rounded tranny tunnel, I've used the thin-wall (schedule 40) 3/4" or 1" diameter sprinkler pipe. It works really well and either of the two sizes is usually big enough for 1:25th scale. You can usually pick up a short section at your local HW store. Later,
  7. Here's a few of my trucks... 1) The Raptor Hauler 2) '40 Ford for a friend '55 Pro Street '50 ZR1 '56 Z06 And here's the one I'm working on...a remade update of the '50 ZR1. Later,
  8. WOW!! That yellow is so bright that I had to readjust my monitor!! Too cool!! Thanks for sharing,
  9. Nice build!! Where did the center console come from? Thanks,
  10. That's a very nicely built '32, Drew!! I really like the color combination...the red body really stands out!! Thanks for sharing,
  11. That looks really nice!! All of the detail work looks GREAT!! Thanks for sharing,
  12. Very nice looking custom!! All of the detail work looks GREAT!! Can you add a shot straight on from the front? I'd like a better look at the grille work. Thanks,
  13. That's looking really nice, Bill!! Are you going to the next Stockton or GoodGuys show? Later,
  14. Very nice combination, Bob!! It didn't sound so good from the description, but the pictures tell a different story!! Thanks for sharing,
  15. Welcome!! I also build N scale train layouts. I find it a GREAT break from building model cars. I sold my last one several years ago, so I need to get started on the next one. I also build 1:35th scale WWII dioramas. The skills that you learn in RR and military modeling are priceless when it comes to weathering model cars and such... Later,
  16. Yep, this is the money shot!! This is by far your best work to date, and it's a winner!! Very nice work all around, my friend!! Later,
  17. Very nice work, John!! The only thing that old Triumph is missing is an oil spot under the engine. You must have a really nice collection of bikes!! Later,
  18. Oh yeah...this one is coming along very nicely, Bernard!! The red, white and blue theme has always been one of my favorites!! Later,
  19. I want to see more of that BIG rat motor!! Which resin engine kit did you use? How was it to build? Thanks,
  20. Alyn, None of the stock heads I found have center outlets...Only the hotrod heads... Sorry,
  21. All of the detail work looks GREAT!! What's up with the spots on the resin body? I sure hope that doesn't peek through the paint!! Later,
  22. Looking good, Brendan!! And, like Curt said, it was good to see you in Sacramento!! Later,
  23. Very nicely done!! The texture and coloring looks GREAT!! Thanks for sharing,
  24. Ha ha ha... Thanks for the chuckle,
  25. Well...I could finish it by the weekend, that is if I wasn't so busy with all of the other stuff I've got going on at home and at work... It'll be done before the show. I've got the week of Thanksgiving off from work, then two more weeks over Christmas and New Years to do not much more that work on models... Then there's the '50 Chevy Z06 pickup and a few dioramas I want to have done for the show... Later,
