  6. THANK YOU!!! Thats one vette Id build haha..Im NOT a vette guy in any way shape or form, about the only ones that catch my eye is a 63 to 65..and only when theyre not stock
  7. I just sectioned a 53 f100 myself haha. mine currently has a blown olds sitting between the inner fenders but thats not definite yet. Once I finish my fender mods, Ill be chopping the top and finishing the hood. Ill eventually post a build thread
  8. I love EARLY 70s mavericks and Comets..The 5mph bumpers wreck the look from 74 on haha. My father bought one new in 73 during his senior year of high school. VERY shortly after he took delivery, he put the 4 speed and 9inch out of his friends totaled Mach 1, put a cam in it, and did a few other things. Car ran in the 12s and he daily drove it until 76 when he bought his "highboy" pick up. The Comet was then given to my mom to drive daily to school. He ran cragars on it usually, changing it up to painted steelies and dog dish caps here and there.... it ended up with endless lined panels for a bit as well. It was cinnamon brown with brown interior. He still has it but its waiting its turn for restoration. He also has a 71 Maverick were collecting the parts to build a early prostock tribute car out of...

  19. looks AWESOME
  20. I like that idea!!! Im also gonna try it out. I think the over fill is a good thing if it sands well as it eliminates most of the filler...my reasoning is.... Im a stainless fabricator by trade, hot rods and custom trucks, bikes etc are my passion..I do a ton of metal finishing at my FT job that doesnt allow any filler as its on stainless, so that has transferred to the car side..and ULTIMATELY the model side...I try to everything with as little filler as possible.
  21. Looks good! as a Comet guy, I always like seeing peoples take on them!
