  1. Yet another quality build. Excellent finish.
  2. What a great looking model of my favorite era and one of my favorite drivers. Great work. Got to see Parnelli run at Winchester Speedway, Winchester, IN when I was 10 or 11. That would be 45 years ago.
  3. Great reason to build a model. Good luck, am sure he will appreciate it.

That's a beautiful build, Jim. Excellent finish.
  5. That is one good looking build, great attention to detail at every turn.
  6. Great looking tribute build. Well done.
  7. That is one stunning Impala. Congrats, great build.
  8. Will appreciate any and all suggestions. Thank you.
  9. I sand and prime just about every piece. It really helps pick out defects that I have missed.
  10. Carl, that is the kit decal on the speedometer with Testors clear parts cement over it. Russell, that is Duplicolor Red lacquer with Duplicolor Clear. Thanks guys for the nice comments.
  11. Iceman, here is a photo of the hood on the Camino.
  12. Russell, that red is Duplicolor lacquer with Duplicolor clear coat.
  13. Revell 58 Impala built box stock in resale red.
  14. AMT El Camino with 64 Impala chassis with correct El Camino gas tank, Wagonrod (?) motor, 59 Impala interior, 59 corvette wheels and tires,Camaro hood scoop grafted in and scratch built bed liner.
  15. 1958 Revell Impala built box stock, three down, several more to go.
  16. A great build of a classic. Gotta love those old chrome sleds. Beautiful.
  17. To prevent the bad edge problem, I usually put the tape I've chosen on a piece of glass, using a metal straightedge and a new 11 blade, cut a fresh edge on it.
  18. Now that's a great looking model Nice work.
  19. Very nice, I like any model that appears you can get in and take it for a drive. So where are the keys?
  20. Marcos, I too have seen your work, if it ain't broke don't try to fix it. I would also echo Jason's remarks, after attending and judging several show, urethane on models appears to me as the finished model was "dipped in plastic". Just my opinion, but way to HEAVY for model cars. Keep them realistic in scale just like the models of yours I have seen.
  21. Very nice, as I often say "box stock am good".
  22. Good looking build of a finicky kit. If there was a 1/25 version of Ohio George standing there I would be confused, model or real thing.
  23. That is a great way to think "out of the box". Looks like it would be right at home at any of the old Lakes events.
