  1. Beautiful work! Like you said, can't go wrong with black and orange
  2. Something a little bit different for me, I used Italeri's kit to make the Jeep driven by Clint Eastwood at hte beginning of Kelly's Heroes. I decided to make the usual Hollywood inaccuracies part of the Jeep's personality, as if it was a salvaged piece that Kelly used as a mobile trading post. Details came from Hasegawa, Custom Dioramics, my parts box, and a few scratchbuilt items. A longer writeup of everything that went into the build is available here, and any comments/criticisms are welcome
  3. I'd check eBay for scratch & dent cars to use for the interiors. Even clean cars can be bought for just a few bucks if they're damaged or not particularly popular. I'd be surprised if Lionel could do anything...odds are they only get the finished cars (no extra parts) from the factory, and any damaged returns are probably thrown out
  4. Very nice work on both, I remember seeing 1:1 Jeeps like that first one, too. That rusting looks spot on
  5. Awesome job on the weathering, especially that interior!
  6. Looks great, nicely done!
  7. Nicely done!
  8. Nicely done, that looks great!
  9. Very nicely done!
  10. Beautiful work, that paint looks flawless!
  11. Awesome work, that turned out great!
  12. Thanks, guys! It's usually a detail I try to get even if Hollywood doesn't, I just missed it this time. Like when I built my Deadpool taxi, I corrected the screen prop to an actual NYS T&LC design: Gotta work on my figure painting skills first...at this point, I fear the results would be closer to "Eldritch Abomination" than "Eye Candy"
  13. Looks great, nicely done!
  14. Neat upgrade, something you don't see too often!
  15. Nicely done, that weathering looks very realistic
  16. Nice clean work on this!
  17. Thanks, guys! Good point, thanks for the suggestion! I usually try to correct details like that as I'm building, but in this case I didn't even think about it and just copied the markings of one of the on-screen trucks, generic prop plates and all. I'll keep that in mind for the sequel!
  18. Finished this up a little bit ago; built from AMT's Ranger Splash with a surf board from the '41 Ford wagon, Ecto-1A light bar, LEGO rescue cans, scratchbuilt rack & toolbox, and custom decals
  19. Looks good, nice to see someone actually building these kits! I had a buddy years ago who went through several Citations, they were actually pretty decent but he had a knack for tearing up cars
  20. That's actually pretty neat, and nice clean work on it too!
  21. Nice clean work, and good choice on the colors - that Cranberry looks nice on the '57!
  22. Awesome work on both of them, they look great!
  23. Beautiful job once again, this series is coming along great!
