  10. Nicely done! I'm also looking forward to Revell's kit...even though I have an Eleanor done, there is room for improvement thanks to what I started with.

  13. As an eBay seller, I get questions that are covered in the descriptions all the time. I try to be polite in my responses, though it can get frustrating if I've had a rash of irritations (either on- or off-site), and days like that I try to wait a bit before responding since I know I'm not at my most professional. As a buyer, I've asked questions that were covered in the listing but missed because I was tired, not paying attention, etc. If the seller responds as this guy did, I go back and double-check to see if I did in fact miss something. Either way, I try to cut the other guy some slack since I've been there.
  14. Thanks, guys!
  15. That was my first thought when I saw it at the show, too. But that one was by a different builder.
  16. Very clean work, nice job!
  17. Looks great in that color, nicely done!
  18. Thanks, guys! I've had a couple of bad applications of Silver Leaf on previous models, so of course this was the smoothest it had ever went on for me. I hated doing the weathering on that finish, but I kept telling myself that I went into this project knowing it was going to have to happen.
  19. Very cool, nicely done!
  20. For anyone unfamiliar with the Fallout game series, the Highwayman was an amalgam of every 1950s excess in one car, then left out in the apocalypse to cook for a few decades. The bulk of this build combined the body from a SnapFast Slammers "Street Fury" and the roof from an AMT '57 Chevy Bel Air, then used the interior from at least two different Ford Galaxies. Wheels, pipes, grille, etc. were pulled from the parts box and modified. The paint is Tamiya Silver Leaf and Gunmetal, then heavily weathered using Vallejo effects paints, Tamiya weathering effects, and a light mist of Dullcote. As always, any comments/criticisms are welcome! The old game sprites weren't sharp enough to give the car a lot of details, but one that was obvious was the missing trunk lid and cargo full of survival gear. More scratch building and parts box to fill it in with everything I thought was necessary...and if I realize I forgot something, I can just say, "it's in the crate" (which was made from a wooden knife from a local food truck).
