  1. One other thing to add re:door handles. These are available from Don Mills Models, sold through his eBay store. Just look for "Rectangular Slam Locks" and they should come up. I've used them in the past, and they're very sharply done with a nice thin flange so your cutouts can have a little wiggle room.
  2. Yes, they retired. Their last day for orders was November 30, 2022.
  3. Excellent work, that turned out great!
  4. Great build and pics!
  5. Very clean work, nice job!
  6. Not much technique for that part, I'm afraid: I happened to have a set of big & little tires in my parts box with nice sharp raised ribs on the sidewalls. Some Apple Barrel "Candy Apple" red acrylic paint applied with a toothpick was all they needed.
  7. Great looking pair, very clean work!
  8. Excellent job on the restoration, it turned out great!
  9. Fantastic work!
  10. Coming into this late, but wanted to say nice work getting it cleaned up. My own F9 Charger is in pretty good shape, about like the one Geno posted, but Jada has definitely been falling off with their QC recently. I have two of their R34 Skylines, one new and one from a few years back...the old one is fine, but the new one is a mess. The fog lights are crammed in at weird angles, the doors don't fit, and the trunk lid barely fits the opening. Even the paint is rough, like it was partially painted outside on a windy day. Glad you could save this one!
  11. Thanks! It's amazing how much of a game changer 3D printing has been in this hobby. The figure I have with my Warthog was made by a digital artist and produced by Valykrie Hobby.
  12. Awesome job on this!
  13. That turned out great!
  14. Great looking car, nice work!
  15. Thanks! Funny you say that...I bought a parts donor Warthog off eBay because mine didn't have a windshield. I had assumed I just misplaced it somewhere in the years between buying and building it, but now I wonder if it was a QC issue and Revell forgot to include it in some kits.
  16. Great to see one of these done up so well, nice work!
  17. Excellent work!
