Superb build, I've got this kit, and was going to sell it on after buying the tamiya version, I've just changed my mind after seeing your build, I'll be building it now.....

For most of the time I use the #3 tip, for some paints like the Trabant paint, which is a synthetic enamel, it needed the #5 tip to get it to spray nicely

More than likely, all my old negatives are stored away, but as we're doing a little remodelling in the home, everything have been put up in the attic, here's the article I wrote for Truck Model World magazine

Not model related, as such, but now the airbrush spraybooth has had to be moved out of the hobby room, now that it has to function as an office as well, just couldn't risk getting any overspray into my computer, printer, scanner and of course my camera gear, I bought a new cupboard to house all my aerosol and paints mixed up in glass jar, plus a new chair, my old one was well past it's sell by date, and a complete rearrange of the room.

Hi Dann, Very well thank you, but just been way too busy with my photography work, I've caught up with my work, and have got a 3 week break until my next assignment, luckily it's pretty local to where I live, time to get a little modelling done, I'm building Revell's 58 Corvette for a U.K online modelling magazine at the moment, sadly i can't share any build up photos until after it's been published.

Revell's later V.W Golf Gti Pirelli, and Italeri's Range Rover police car, although I'll be building it factory stock.

Thanks for asking, but I'm still here, as Skip mentioned, I have been selling off some of the stash, mainly because it had once again, got out of hand, so I sold kits that I knew i wouldn't build or some i had got multiples of, saying that, I've just bought two new kits, Revell's VW Golf Gti Pirelli, and Italeri's Range rover. For about 2 years now, my photography business just went crazy, and had no time to even think of sitting at the building bench, I've got 4 weeks until my next assignment, so I'm getting a little modelling done, I'm building the Revell 58 Corvette for a magazine, and really need to get cracking, as Revell supplied the model for a product review, which was done by the Editor and then passed on to me for building. If I go quiet from time to time on here, you can bet I'm out with my camera's earning a crust.....

I've for a few of the Heller 2cv's, and last year i built the Revell version, looking at the two, I'd go for the Revell version if you can get it, while not as detailed as the tamiya version, which i built a few years ago, it's a better model to build. The Heller one is a little simplified with the roof molded as part of the body, the revell is separate and gives you the port of roof open or closed.

Looking good, I built this model last year, went together very well .....

Wecome aboard, I had the pleasure of visiting Brazil for 3 weeks last year, the other end of the country to where you are, in Manaus

Revell Germany Landrover series III? false alarm
GeeBee replied to Luc Janssens's topic in Truck Kit News & Reviews
I doubt given the price listed of £29.99, it will be the old Esci/Italeri version, could be the old Monogram version, or could be a brand new tooling, only time will tell -
Revell Germany Landrover series III? false alarm
GeeBee replied to Luc Janssens's topic in Truck Kit News & Reviews
Esci did a few Land Rovers, and Revell have used there molds before, although Monogram did release a land rover as well, I suppose we just have to wait to find out -
Just wondering why you are back on here Nigel masquerading as someone else ?? Seems you're posting the same over on the Airfix site under your old name of Arni ?? https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/airfixtributeforum/arni-s-used-motors-t23785-s1200.html#p793990

Superb build ..... -
The body was airbrushed in Citroen Bamboo green, which I had mixed up at my paint suppliers, the grey for the wheels and bumpers is Citroen Rose Grey, which I already had in stock, the interior was airbrushed using a few shades of enamel mixed together to get the correct shades.
