  1. Cool.? Now if they could motorize those dials and add some laser range finders so that everything you look at is in focus….?
  2. Havoc is usually the outcome of a tornado.
  3. That is beautifully done!?
  4. This is a super fine machine. This might even be better than Darryl Starbird's Superfleck Moon... It is! It's better than Darryl Starbird's Superfleck Moonbird.?

Well I think it came out pretty nice too!? The Nissan engine is definitely different….probably take a ribbing at the car shows eh?
  6. Heh Heh…if your dentist is wearing these, you might want to run away fast!?
  7. I second your thanks to the members! They are a friendly, supportive and inspirational group.
  8. So I am going to try my hand at a weathered look for the first time.? I found this picture online and it’s the look I am going for.? This is my first attempt and I wish I had put a little thicker coat of red oxide on it because I sanded through to the white plastic in a couple small spots.? I am not starting over though and I do have an idea how to fix them. I still have the flat or satin clear to apply. Comments or criticisms welcome.
  9. I don’t see the 6x listed anymore where I got mine? Just type 6x reading glasses into the Amazon search bar. And 3.25x is the highest power any local store sells.? https://www.amazon.ca/BLUEMOKY-Reading-Glasses-Men,Sport-Computer https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B086PZRTLX?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 Edit: Here’s some. https://www.amazon.com/Magnification-Readers-Reading-Glasses-4-00-6-00/dp/B01LYQGG5E/ref=
  10. I got these off Amazon. I wear the 4x constantly while performing normal building tasks, and the 6x for really fiddly stuff. I asked both my GP and my optometrist if wearing them could accelerate the decline of my vision and they both said no.?
  11. Fantastic work Kurt! You take OCD to a whole new level….Thank You for the inspiration and extremely detailed pictures and explanations.??
  12. Some of these poor models have been waiting a long, long time to get built, so….get on ‘em Guys!?
  13. That is one sweet looking Riv!? Awesome work Tim!

Thanks John. I didn’t get too close with the camera though.? I foiled all the window frames although they supply masks for painting the rear quarter window frames if desired. I scratch built the Rudge wheel centers and glued them on in place of the hub caps.

Thank you everyone! Like I said, it is a really beautiful kit….probably the nicest kit I have worked on. The issues I had were because of my own clumsiness and impatience. Yes Bill, it comes with the hinges and the little prop rods for holding the hood and doors open for display.
  17. Effectively stumped me you did.
  18. I don’t think this is terribly rare, but the closest I have.
  19. Great idea Kurt. I put one magnet on the hood of my ‘57 Chevy pickup to keep it from sliding forward as it liked to do. Maybe I need another one at the front to keep the hood on when inverted.? I like that weathering job also.
  20. It looks great Michelle!?
  21. Beautiful and super clean build Claude!? I like those hood hinges. I think I’ve seen them on some of your other works. Do you have a patent on them??
  22. Beautiful work Andrew!?
  23. Wow! That is indeed a thing of beauty!?
  24. X2?
