A food dehydrator can speed up the drying time also. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/1342-food-dehydrators-paint-dryers/ -
I have used the superfine white on both die cast and styrene. It is easy to work, sticks like crazy and hardens like rock.

Nice work.? It needs an air filter though if you’re going to play in the dirt!? -

That Jeep is a real nice project Dennis. Nice detailing on the Range Rover so far too.? -
Older kits should get built and enjoyed, not hoarded.

Very nice! I do love that colour!? -
A bit more progress on this one. I have the wheels and radiator mounted solid now. I couldn’t get the tie rod to sit nice, and it’s way too short anyways, so I lengthened it with some .033” wire. I scratch built a new drag link also since there is no real connection point at the knuckle. I have the body ready for paint now I think. I added a bit of Milliput to the lower front hood edges so it meets up with the grill better.

sanding Tiger stripes in color coat?
NOBLNG replied to jaynew246's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Not my intention. I wouldn’t advise him either, as I have little experience in the 1:1 paint world. There are a few at least on here who are professionals and are willing to assist the OP. Nothing wrong with that in my mind. -
That is a really nice green.? I’m not a fan of mis-matched wheels…but that’s just me.

Plans to just do a simple out of box build always seem to go awry.

Sweet!? I love rebuilds as much or more than a fresh build.?
