  1. The smaller Art Minds ones are from Michaels (leather working section). The larger ones I believe are from Princess Auto.
  2. First, get a cutting matt if you don’t have one. Then a nice wide steel ruler for guiding straight cuts. You can use a scoring tool or the back side of a hobby knife for thicker styrene. Almost any cut won’t be perfectly square….so a large flat file can be used to square it up if necessary. A set of hole punches work best for perfectly round holes and discs. And like Tom says, cardboard templates are your friend.
  3. Are these sink marks or are they supposed to be there? I haven’t used them because I’ve always thought they where blemished…but the marks are pretty consistent so? Any idea what kit they might be from? They are red styrene behind the plating. Thanks, Greg.
  4. Bin dere done dat.?
  5. It is indeed a beauty.?
  6. Super nice job Andreas! The detailing is excellent. Brake lines, park brake cables, engine…all nicely done!?
  7. Bushes have a way of claiming cars that have been forgotten.
  8. Picked up this Riviera. No engines but everything else is there. Also this assembled but unpainted Monogram ZZ Top ‘33. Fifteen bucks for both.? The ‘33 is already apart for a refurbishing.
  9. Nice find!?Did you look everywhere? Maybe there’s more??
  10. I just picked one up at the local club meeting. Yes, that one does have the clear rim and a two spoke chrome center.

  13. I’m a cheapskate! I would replace the vent window divider with some styrene stock. The A pillar I would try to gently straighten it with a small pair of needle nose pliers. If that failed, I would cut it out and carve a new one from evergreen stock. What have you got to lose? If you wreck it…then look for a replacement.?‍♂️
  14. Run back to the hobby shop again because I forgot to buy the one thing that I went there for.?
  15. Pusillanimous individuals are unlikely to sign up with the armed forces.
  16. Too late to reply “Them thar frog legs taste like chicken”.
  17. Looks like it says Ron Cash Scale Models 1-90.
  18. Song birds mostly head south for the winter, but not the chickadee.
  19. Dodge ball was a game I didn’t like in school because I was always the smallest kid.
  20. I’m thinking I love that color! What is it?
  21. Looking good Ken. Color is really nice.?
  22. A couple of mock-up photos. I’m not sure if I like that sectioned radiator shell, but I guess that’s the way it’s gotta be unless I start re-locating things?
  23. Whoever printed the yearbook flipped the negative…..you remember those I’m sure. They did get the order of the names correct though.
  24. I don’t think there’s a single person on this forum that would have trouble forging that. But hey if someone has a spare 51 million to spend on it….?
