  1. Everyday I try to accomplish something, but it’s difficult now that I am retired because there is always tomorrow.
  2. Is the kit molded in white? I just recently read a thread on here about tires made from white styrene? where they were painted and then the paint wiped off of the raised letters. That might work?, especially if you are using acrylic paint.
  3. Stupid is as stupid does.
  4. This is shaping up nicely Bob. I’m not usually a fan of large rims and rubber band tires, but those do look good and fill out the wheel wells nicely. Stance looks killer!😎
  5. Nice progress Scott.😎 What kit did the headers come from?
  6. Stop, drop and roll if you ever spontaneously combust.
  7. Welcome back Mario. Sorry to hear of your problems. Best of Health and luck in the future. Looking forward to more pics.😎
  8. I like the early Cougars even more than Mustangs.
  9. Some of those old Plymouths can be cursed!😳
  10. Can you imagine having to stoop and scoop that when you take him for a walk? Got a hefty hefty cinch sack full….throw it over your shoulder and head home once he’s done his business.😬
  11. Rotating assemblies need to be fairly well balanced.
  12. Looking great Michael! I really like that shade of blue on it.😎
  13. Nice work so far. The two-tone paint job looks great!😎
  14. Cool. Those cars had a very classy look I always thought.😎
  15. WOW! That is mind-blowing! The vision and talent he has surpasses my wildest imagination. It blew me away when he said it took about a month to build that model…I was expecting a years long project. And all without a 3D printer.🤯 Thank you for posting that video.😎
  16. I like the concept, and you’re making good progress!👍😎
  17. John, the splines were done on my 1/25 scale milling machine.🤣🤣 No, seriously, I just pressed hard and rolled a fine single cut file over a piece of 1/16” aluminum rod at the appropriate angle to get the score marks aligned. Good eye!…don’t look that close at anything else.🥴 Thank you all Fellas!
  18. Looking over my thread, I realize that I missed posting pics of the completed interior. And I got the engine, drivetrain and exhaust installed. I removed the molded in kit fuel rails and added some scratch built ones.
  19. Finally got motivated again and got some gloss black paint on the box and roof. Finished up the bed floor and rails too. Real black walnut edge banding with scratch made rails covered with BMF. It’s not glued in yet…that will be a next to last step.
  20. Another round of putty, and it still needs more….mostly smoothing out now. I fixed up both of the A-Pillars that I replaced and re-scribed the door lines too.
  21. Oooh….that is beautiful!😎
  22. She’s a beauty!😎
  23. Usually an internal structure would be easier to attach. I did it to this Jeepster when I changed the front clip and opened the hood. Also on this ‘51 Chevy when I chopped and channeled it.
