  1. Good catch guys!👍 Reminds me of the time I sanded the fender welting off my Jag e-type thinking they were mould seams.😳 I probably spend as much time googling images now as I do actually building.
  2. Nice plan. I am slowly getting started on mine so I will definitely follow along!😎
  3. They certainly liked their BLING back then!😎
  4. 1967 Camaros are one car that I wouldn’t mind owning.
  5. Here’s one thread I found on the subject. https://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/179380-37-chevy-rod-how-low-can-you-gow/
  6. Thanks Ron. I gotta open my eyes!😬 It’s from this IMC Cougar ll that I work on off and on. It looks kinda like this one from a ‘57 Fairlane.
  7. Found this on the carpet while looking for something else that I dropped.🥴 I don’t recall ever seeing it previously. Anyone know what it belongs to? Thanks!🙂
  8. Entirely true your suspicions may be.
  9. Cool pics!😎 I have the Testors version of this kit so I will definitely follow along.🙂
  10. For those who like too much information….This particular caliper reads measurements in 1/128ths of an inch apparently.😳 The main scale (ruler) is marked off in 16ths. There are 8 spaces on the “vernier” scale at the top of the movable jaw (8x16= 128) so each graduation equals 1/128 of an inch. The first “0” mark is just shy of the 2-1/2” mark, so 2-7/16” (2-56/128”) is the measurement to be added to. The 7th “vernier” graduation mark lines up the best with a graduation on the main scale (16ths) so 7/128ths is added to the 56/128ths for a total of 2-63/128ths. 1 divided by 128=approximately .0078x63=.492 So this measures 2.492 by this caliper. I measured it with 2 other calipers: Cheap Vernier= 2.492” Dial caliper= 2.496” Digital caliper= 2.493” So this cheapo caliper is pretty darn accurate to two decimal places. My brain hurts now, so I think I will stick to my dial and digital units.
  11. Just to keep everything relevant, I made a vernier clamp.🤓
  12. A dog will eat cat poop if given the opportunity, but try to hide a pill in a chunk of cheese…
  13. WOW! Awesome amount of custom fabrication you are doing to this! It is really starting to shape up nicely.👍
  14. Very nice build Tom!👍 I like all your additions.😎
  15. Beautifully done Bob!👍 Your 3d printed wheels nicely complement the package.😎
  16. Fabulous work on the exhaust system Daniel. And your lathe work on those brake discs is something I envy. I have one of those chinese lathes but don’t have the skills to do that kind of intricate work.👍
  17. Thanks for all your completely irrelevant input boys.🙄
  18. Cool project and I love that engine!😎
  19. I’m not a fan of that chop either. Other than that, might be restorable.
  20. Nice work! That patina looks very realistic.👍😎
  21. Fantastic work Steve. All the body mods meld together beautifully!👍😎
  22. If you have flea markets nearby I would check them first, but they can be had real cheap at Harbor Freight or online.
  23. Anything is possible but probably more work than it’s worth.🧐 Just add some anti-slip vacuum caps and all is good.🙂 It can even grip and clamp non-parallel surfaces.
